Li Kuiwen said that the main characteristics of the import and export of private enterprises are as follows: First, in terms of development speed, in the first half of the year, the import and export of private enterprises was 9.82 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.6%, which was 4.2 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of the country, accounting for the total foreign trade of the country. The proportion of value increased by 1.9 percentage points from the same period last year to 49.6%, and the status of private enterprises as the largest subject of foreign trade has been further consolidated.
Second, in terms of product structure, in the first half of the year, the export of mechanical and electrical products by private enterprises increased by 15.3%, which was 6.7 percentage points higher than the national export growth rate of mechanical and electrical products. The imports of agricultural products, basic organic chemicals, medicinal materials and pharmaceuticals increased by 6.4%, 14% and 33.1% respectively, all higher than the national import growth rate of similar products.
Third, in terms of market development, in the first half of the year, while private enterprises maintained growth in imports and exports from traditional markets such as the United States, Europe, South Korea, and Japan, they accelerated their expansion into emerging markets, including ASEAN , Latin America, and Central Asia. China's import and export grew by 20.5%, 16.4%, and 53.3% respectively, and the growth rates were higher than the overall national level.
"It should be said that my country's foreign trade can achieve steady growth in the first half of the year, and an important support is the effective stimulation of the vitality of various foreign trade market entities." Li Kuiwen said that the customs has introduced ten measures to promote the stability and quality improvement of foreign trade to protect market entities. Recently, the customs has specially researched and introduced 7 measures to further help enterprises to relieve difficulties and reduce costs. The main ones are: for those who are unable to pay taxes on time due to the epidemic and are unable to pay taxes on time and pay back taxes within the prescribed period, late payment fees can be exempted. ; Cancel the third-party testing requirements for companies to apply for exemption from customs duties and import link taxes for returned goods; exempt companies from providing storage location certification materials when applying for entry fruit quarantine licenses; simplify the inspection requirements for imported paints and no longer check the "Paint Registration Certificate" 》;Adjust and optimize the inspection requirements for imported crude oil and coal.
