Recently, the Shigatse Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau Quality Supervision Station and other units jointly carried out the completion inspection and acceptance of the Shigatse Qilu Senior High School project, marking the official completion of the project.
Overview of the middle school
The Qilu Senior High School project in Shigatse City is the largest investment project in the history of Shandong's aid to Tibet. It is constructed by the China Railway 14th Bureau. The investment amount of this project is nearly 200 million yuan. It is located in Shigatse Economic Development Zone, with a net land area of 71,168.77 square meters and a total construction area of 35,009.37 square meters. The main construction content includes civil engineering, decoration, water supply and drainage, strong and weak electricity, fire protection engineering and corresponding foundation treatment engineering. Since
entered the market in September 2020, the project has been promoting project construction in a sprint state. Because it is located on a plateau, builders face difficulties such as high altitude, low temperature, and difficulty in transporting materials. "Our employees are all transferred from high-altitude projects such as Lhasa and Qamdo , and have rich high-altitude construction experience and adaptability. In order to complete the construction deadline tasks with quality and quantity, we implement standardized management and control, standardized operations, and high-quality construction , advanced at a fast pace, and successfully achieved the scheduled goal of constructing eight main buildings at the same time," said Ding Wenhui, secretary of the project.
This project has attracted much attention from all walks of life since its inception. As early as May 2021, with the high-quality "China Railway 14th Bureau Standards", the project department's safety and civilized standardization construction was recognized by the local government. The Shigatse Municipal Education Bureau specially organized engineering construction units from 18 counties and districts in the city's education system to observe and learn from the project. The project has been awarded the Shigatse City Standardized Construction Site and the Tibet Autonomous Region Safe and Civilized Standardized Construction Site.
It is reported that the high school is mainly divided into three areas: teaching area, living area, and sports area. After completion, the school will have 30 classes and can accommodate more than 1,500 teachers and students attending classes at the same time. After being put into use, it is expected to increase the number of local high school students. The rate of has increased by 10%, further enhancing the people's sense of gain and satisfaction with education in Shigatse City, and providing strong support for the high-quality development of education in Shigatse City.
