Go all out to high-purity hydrogen filling
With the implementation of the national dual-carbon strategy, the hydrogen energy industry chain, known as the ultimate energy, has begun to gradually develop and improve on the road to replacing traditional energy. For Sinopec, if we can formulate Chinese standards for the entire hydrogen energy industry chain from construction, production, safety, quality, filling, transportation and use, we can give full play to the upstream and downstream advantages of Sinopec's hydrogen energy industry and gain the right to speak in the industry. , will be able to lay the foundation for China’s first hydrogen energy company. Based on this concept, Guangzhou Petrochemical will develop hydrogen energy as an important starting point for building a dual demonstration enterprise of clean energy and transformation and upgrading, as well as a safe, green and high-quality development enterprise. Tang Jiaxiang also took over the high-purity hydrogen filling at this point according to work needs.
"Guangzhou Petrochemical's hydrogen production is the reuse of industrial by-products. In the past, it was burned as fuel, but now it can be increased to 99.999% through purification technology, and the current national standard for hydrogen fuel cells is 99.97%. We After the purification is completed, it is compressed and filled through compressor ," she told reporters. In order to standardize the entire process of high-purity hydrogen filling as soon as possible, she often stayed at the site with the operators for a whole day, repeatedly confirming and scrutinizing every detail of the filling technical plan, and constantly improving the filling technical plan.
Tang Jiaxiang refined the entire high-purity hydrogen filling process into 22 steps based on the actual filling situation and repeated exploration, and included each step in the high-purity hydrogen filling process record sheet to standardize each filling step of the operator. In view of the problems of short running time and easy leakage of valves in high-purity hydrogen filling stations, we conducted technical exchanges with many units, repeatedly screened, and finally determined valves made of suitable materials.
On December 15, 2020, the first 420 kilograms of hydrogen was transported from the Guangzhou Petrochemical factory to the Guangdong Petroleum Zhangkeng oil and hydrogen joint construction station 80 kilometers away. At this point, Sinopec’s hydrogen energy industry integration pattern in Guangdong Province has begun to take shape. Since its safe operation, Guangzhou Petrochemical has provided a cumulative filling capacity of 438 tons of hydrogen energy. If 1 kilogram of hydrogen can allow a family car to run 100 kilometers, the driving distance of this filling amount can already reach from the earth to the moon. It made 5 round trips and circled the earth along the equator more than 1,000 times.
Find the right position to participate in the construction of new industries.
High-purity hydrogen filling is a new industry with no ready-made experience to refer to. At the same time, standards and specifications are not yet complete. After being transferred to the high-purity hydrogen filling management position, the changes in work content and role brought a double test to Tang Jiaxiang.
However, with an unyielding spirit and tenacious drive, Tang Jiaxiang plunged into work, always trying to solve all kinds of "trouble" in production. "I majored in chemical engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. I am born with this kind of personality. When I feel that something is inconvenient, I just want to solve it."
In addition, her master, another employee of Guangzhou Petrochemical A "treasure" - Liu Lixin, who was awarded the "Great Country Craftsman" by the China Energy, Chemical and Geological Union, also had a profound impact on her. Liu Lixin, known as the "King of Machines," likes to mess with things and anything he thinks is imperfect in production. Under the influence of this mentoring culture, Tang Jiaxiang has also developed the habit of tossing.
In her opinion, ordinary jobs should also have a sense of innovation. "You need to take a longer-term view, connect theoretical knowledge with reality, and draw parallels from analogies to gain a more comprehensive view of things. In 2021, with the strong support of the company, Tang Jiaxiang Hydrogen Energy Studio was officially established. Under her leadership, the Hydrogen Energy team carefully collected and sorted out the experience accumulated in the high-purity hydrogen filling process and problems, actively writing papers and applying for patents. Because of her achievements in her position, she was also fortunate to participate in the formulation of hydrogen energy standards and specifications at Sinopec headquarters, and invited experts from Qingdao Safety Engineering Institute to conduct on-site high-purity hydrogen purification. Conduct safety surveys on devices and filling facilities, evaluate the current safety measures and management of devices and facilities, and participate in the construction and management of safety standards for high-purity hydrogen filling.
In recent years, Tang Jiaxiang has been responsible for or participated in more than 30 major renovations and proposed rationalizations. She made more than 40 suggestions. Due to her outstanding performance, she has won the honors of Guangdong Province’s “Advanced Female Employee in the Industrial System”, Guangzhou Petrochemical’s “Model Communist Party Member”, Guangzhou Petrochemical’s “Youth Job Expert”, and won the second prize of the Guangzhou Petrochemical Science and Technology Progress Award1 3 times, third prize, and was elected as a representative of the 13th Party Congress of Guangdong Province.
Now, Guangzhou Petrochemical has launched the second phase of hydrogen purification project for fuel cell vehicles, and plans to use Sinopec’s independent technology for the second phase. After construction, the construction of the hydrogen supply center (Phase III) will be started in due course according to market demand. In the future, Guangzhou Petrochemical will build Sinopec's hydrogen energy production base in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a screw in this emerging energy industry chain. , Tang Jiaxiang clearly understood his position: "The honor is just an affirmation of my previous work, and there is still a long way to go.
