Zhen Mi was born in the Eastern Han Dynasty and died in the Three Kingdoms. She is the wife of Wei Wendi Cao Pi and the biological mother of Wei Ming Emperor Cao Rui. In the 9th year of Jian'an, Zhen Mi was adopted by Cao Pi because of her outstanding looks. After marriage, she was deeply loved and gave birth to son Cao Rui and daughter Dongxiang Princess. Originally, Zhen Mi was the best candidate for the queen after Cao Pi became the throne. Unexpectedly, six years later, Cao Pici died in Yecheng, and was buried after being "covered with hair" and "stuffed with chaff". It is said that this kind of punishment is the cruelest, even in the underworld, there is nowhere to tell one's grievances, and even unable to reincarnate.
So, what is the reason that Cao Pi treats his former beloved wife so cruelly?

1. Cao Pi's first thorn
Before marrying Cao Pi, Zhen Mi was the wife of Yuan Shao's second son, Yuan Xi. In the Battle of Guandu, Cao Cao defeated Yuan Shao, and subsequently captured Yuan Shao's base camp, Yecheng.
At this time, Zhen Mi and his family were captured by Cao Cao, and Cao Pi, who always admired Zhen Mi’s beauty, rushed ahead of Cao Cao (Cao has always liked torture wives and daughters), and first proposed to his father Cao Cao and mother Bian to marry him. Zhen Mi's request.
Cao Cao coveted Zhen Mi's beauty, but couldn't bear to compete with his son and had to agree to the marriage. At that time, Cao Pi was seventeen and Zhen Mi was twenty-one.
Although Zhen Mi is not Cao Pi's original wife, Cao Pi is not Zhen Mi's original husband. Perhaps, from the moment of marriage, it is destined to have a tragic ending.

2. The second thorn in Cao Pi's heart
At first, the lives of Zhen Mi and Cao Pi were still very sweet, which can basically be regarded as harmony between the piano and the singer and the husband and wife. In the first year after marriage, Zhen Mi gave birth to his eldest son Cao Rui for Cao Pi.
However, within a few years, Cao Pi, who was once attracted by Zhen Mi's beauty, gradually became more and more uncomfortable with the ebb of passion. And Zhen Mi's admiration for Cao Pi quietly changed after one incident. When
was completed at the Tongque Terrace, Cao Cao was in a dispirited mood, feasting the officials there, and ordered all the scholars to use the Tongque Terrace as the topic to make gifts on the spot. Although Cao Pi and others were barely written, the artistic conception and rhetoric could not satisfy Cao Cao. Only Cao Zhi's "Tongquetai Fu" shocked the audience, which made Cao Cao praised, and at the same time, Zhen Mi was completely convinced by his talents. : Z1z

This year, Zhen Mi is 25 years old and Cao Zhi is 15 years old. The author believes that for Zhen Mi, who has been married twice, she should not be in love with her fifteen-year-old uncle. Her admiration or admiration for Cao Zhi only stayed in poems and songs.
However, Cao Pi doesn't think so. He began to doubt everything. He suspected that Zhen Mi would empathize with Cao Zhi, and that Cao Zhi had any wrong thoughts about Zhen Mi. It's just that he is in a fierce battle to seize his son, and he really has no energy to distract.

3. The Queen Guo who accelerated Zhen Mi’s death
In 220 AD, Cao Cao died and Cao Pi succeeded Wei Wang. Soon after, Cao Pi forced Han Xiandi to retreat and became emperor himself. But after ascending to the throne, Cao Pi hesitated in the selection of the queen.
Originally, Zhen Mi, who had the eldest son Cao Rui and the eldest daughter, Princess Dongxiang, was the best candidate for the queen, and also received unanimous support from the Cao family.
However, Cao Pi, who had a grievance in his heart, chose to postpone the establishment of the queen at this moment, and moved Zhen Mi to Yecheng. At the same time, he set up Queen Guo as his noble concubine, and moved to Luoyang with him, second only to the queen and equal to the vice queen.
Queen Guo stills
What is this Queen GuoWhat about Xu Ren? It turned out that as early as when Cao Cao was alive, Queen Guo was selected into the palace to serve Prince Cao Pi. According to historical records, although Queen Guo was born in poverty, she was quite strategic and was three years younger than Cao Pi, so she was deeply loved.
On the one hand, it is Zhen Mi, a second-married literary young woman who is older than herself; on the other hand, is Queen Guo, a smart girl who is younger than herself and loves herself. Gradually, Cao Pi's love for Zhen Mi began to turn to Queen Guo.
At this time, Zhen Mi, who was left in Yecheng, suffered a lot in her heart. While tossing and turning, he wrote a poem "Tang Shang". Unexpectedly, this poem not only failed to redeem Cao Pi's intentions, but became the fuse of Zhen Mi's death:
was born in my pool, where is its leaf.

There is a sorrowful wind on the border, so how can trees be repaired? In the
poem, Zhen Mi not only expresses her miss for Cao Pi, but also a little bit of resentment. This may be a unique characteristic of young women in literature and art, but Cao Pi is not a person who understands style and is really warm and cold.
Therefore, after reading the poem, Cao Pi has completely given up on Zhen Mi, no longer has the hope of easing the relationship between husband and wife, and only cares about his eldest son Cao Rui and has no further development.
But at this time, Queen Guo fell into trouble. Taking advantage of the fact that Cao Rui was born less than a month ago, she falsely claimed that Zhen Shi married Cao Pi after she became pregnant, and that Cao Rui was very likely Yuan Xi's son.
Cao Pi naturally did not dare to neglect this matter which was a major event in Jiangshan society. When he conquered Sun Quan in the south, he deliberately took the road to Yecheng and questioned Zhen Mi face to face.
finally! Zhen Mi broke out completely. Not only did she resent Queen Guo's sinister and viciousness, she also resented Cao Pi's ruthlessness. She even disregarded Cao Pi's nine-five-year-old, and had a big fight with her, and the couple broke completely.
After Cao Pi returned to Luoyang, he became more and more angry about the matter. In addition, he returned to the south without success and sent envoys to Yecheng to give the Zhen family a secret to death. According to "Three Kingdoms·Wei Shu" records: Emperor
was furious. In June of the second year, he was sent to death by an envoy and was buried in Ye.
3. After Zhen Mi's death
After Zhen Mi's death, Cao Pi is still aggrieved.
first made trouble for Cao Zhi with the "seven steps as a poem", and then quickly killed him. Later, he gave Cao Zhi the pillow that Zhen Mi had in his lifetime to humiliate him for thinking about his brothers and sisters.
After being jealous and humiliated by his brother, Cao Zhi embraced the jade pillow, seeing things and thinking about people, and his heart ached a little deeper. When passing through Luohe, Cao Zhi felt it, and created "Gan Zhen Fu" in one go.
On the other side, Cao Rui, who stayed in the palace, was left out of the cold. In order to survive, Cao Rui had to recognize the thief as the mother, pretending to be very respectful to Queen Guo, who had been established as the queen.
Even so, Cao Pi never wanted to make Cao Rui the crown prince. However, Cao Pitian did not holiday, and died of serious illness in just forty. At that time, the other princes were all young and had to pass the throne to Cao Rui.
Cao Rui, who was named Dabao, has always been worried about the death of his mother Zhen Mi. It didn't take long for him to chase down his biological mother Zhen Mi as Empress Wen Zhao for his father, and began to reverse the case for his mother, directing all the spearheads at Queen Guo, who replaced Zhen Mi as the queen, and even gradually became murderous.
Qinglong three years (235 years), under the persecution of Wei Ming Emperor Cao Rui, Queen Mother Guo committed suicide at the age of 51. After her death, thinking of her mother's tragic situation in those years, Cao Rui also ordered Guo to be "covered" and "filled with chaff" before allowing her to be buried.
