Batman is almost ready to fly, Matt Reeves has been discussing whether other DC heroes might appear in his Batman universe.
Batman and Superman's first live-action duel is thanks to a vision that Zack Snyder started but couldn't finish. When and how we'll see the duo team up again remains up in the air. With the Snyderverse left behind, Ben Affleck moving on from his Batman role, and Henry Cavill 's Superman returns as a possibility, but there are doubts, and while Robert Pattinson seems poised to be the new long-term bat, is he A chance to work with Krypton's Prodigal Son? It's not something Matt Reeves wants to explore right now, but if it does happen, it won't be like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The first full review of Batman is ready and will start once the embargo is lifted on Monday, judging from the early whispers, there is a lot of good stuff in the movie, The dark, down-to-earth and disturbing tone of the film is one of the big topics of Robert Pattinson's debut feature. With that in mind, there has to be a question whether an existence like superman would work in that kind of world, something Reeves noted when discussing possible crossover topics.
Reeves was asked if Superman and other Justice League members exist somewhere in the new Batman universe,The director is well aware that it's hard enough to make a Batman movie and a world where Batman exists alone without having to think about other heroes right away. He said, "I don't think it's possible for them to connect to something else somewhere down the road, but that's not my interest in that or what we're currently doing in the follow-up.
Matt Reeves has a clear vision for the Batman franchise and doesn't seem to include other DC heroes.
While there is a huge multiverse and crossover trends in the comic book movie world, Matt Reeves clearly wants to focus on the Batman and Gotham characters rather than trying to pull in the entire Justice League just for it. When asked if he could and would include Superman Batman 's sequel, the director explained in detail that he will only do it with a believable version of Superman, but for now, he has a lot to focus on in the world of Gotham. He said:
you mean if you can? is that what you say ...I did that in the Ape movies, even Cloverfield, the idea was to take a fantasy element and then put everything around it so it would be as grounded as possible so that It just feels...I want it to feel emotionally real and make everything feel very believable. In this movie I think I'm a step further than what I've done in those movies Trying to find a practical, believable version. If all of a sudden in Batman's world, you find out there's an alien who's Superman, there's a lot of shock. I mean, people have to say, oh my god , maybe it would be a fancy element.
but honestly,That's not the intention right now, figure out how to achieve this. Look, we should be lucky, this is a world that people embrace and say, oh my god, we want to see what happens when these things collide. I think if this challenge comes up, it will be an exciting exploration, but I have to try and do it through this lens. you know what I mean? That's absolutely true, right now, for me, the world is where I want to focus.
Matt Reeves has two spinoffs and a potential sequel or two coming Matt Reeves hopes to bring in from Batman’s hometown Other heroes may be right to avoid complications.
