From June 28th to 29th, more than 40 young volunteers from the Xiangjiang Social Relief Foundation and the Tongxin Youth Committee went to the Wenxing Children’s Welfare Center in Huaicheng Town, Huaiji County, Zhaoqing City, and organized a meeting called "Big Hands Holding Small Hands, Tongxin "Go forward" visits.

Love changes fate
Zhaoqing is a beautiful place, and the green mountains and beautiful waters make people nostalgic for imagination. At the same time, Zhaoqing is also a mountainous area. The barren mountains breed poverty and block people's pursuit of prosperity. Currently in Zhaoqing, there are still many poor families and many more helpless orphans. Because of poverty, they are still on the verge of happiness.
In 2009, the Wenxing Children's Welfare Center of Huaiji County was established through fund-raising from enthusiastic people. The hardware is set up, but in addition to relying on government support for the children’s living and learning, the funding gap has always been the center’s biggest problem if they want to give them a happy home. However, love has passed through the mountains, and caring companies and people in the society have come here one after another, holding the hands of the Zhaoqing orphans. As early as 2007, the Xiangjiang Social Relief Foundation organized more than 30 Xiangjiang volunteers to form a match with more than 30 Zhaoqing orphans. This fate brought by love has continued.
After the completion of the welfare center, the Xiangjiang Social Relief Foundation donated 350,000 yuan to establish the "Xiangjiang Love Library" for the children, bringing 15,000 books; since 2010, it has funded 24 donations every year Ten thousand yuan will be used for the study and life of orphans in the center until they reach the age of 18. In April of the same year, the first "Xiangjiang Children's Home" was established. Weaving a new "family" with love

The welfare center not only brought new stationery, books, sports equipment and other gifts to the children, but also carefully planned a two-day and one-night "spiritual" journey. The
volunteers and the children formed eight small families. Everyone in the family has their own role, and each family has a task card. Through the division of labor, family members can experience dumpling-making competitions and mountain climbing together. On the evening of the 28th, a special gala once again narrowed the distance between the volunteers and the children.In my own small family, everyone used their leisure time to come up with ideas and rehearse frequently. The “family” who was originally a little strange soon warmed up, sweat and laughter swayed in every corner of the welfare center.
On the 29th, the event is coming to an end. The Xiangjiang Social Foundation specially held a sharing session for the volunteers and the children. The warm photos of everyone living and playing together were displayed on the screen along with music. The 48 hours of beautiful memories in two days made Everyone once again felt the power of love and the warmth of home.
