The hearing of the case will be held on November 4, and the subjects involved include Zhang Ting and his wife, Tao Hong , etc.
Public information shows that "TST Ting Secret" is a daily chemical product brand under Shanghai Dalwei Trading Co., Ltd. run by well-known artists Lin Ruiyang and Zhang Ting and his wife. It was founded by Zhang Ting and his wife in 2013. With the founder's popularity in the entertainment industry, many celebrities have stood up for the brand after its launch. In 2014, the brand began to enter the WeChat business and rose rapidly. It was once known as the "first brand of WeChat business", and its products include skin care products, health foods, beauty instruments, etc.
In December 2021, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Yuhua District, Shijiazhuang City disclosed in the form of a "Reply on the Verification Letter". According to multiple public reports and verifications, Shanghai Darwei Trading Co., Ltd. is suspected of using the Internet to engage in pyramid scheme activities. According to the "Regulations on the Prohibition of pyramid schemes", the bureau filed a case against it on June 5, 2021 and reported it to its superiors step by step. It also stated that because the company used financial institutions to transfer or conceal pyramid scheme funds, it has applied to the people's court to take preservation measures in accordance with the law.
Zhang Ting and his wife were suspected of pyramid schemes and were pushed to the public. This news immediately attracted social attention. Some media later reported that the amount involved in the case was huge, or more than 10 billion yuan; Zhang Ting and his wife were seized and frozen by relevant local departments for more than 2 billion yuan.
At the same time, actor Tao Hong was also involved in the case and was revealed that he was a shareholder of Shanghai Dalway Trading Co., Ltd. and co-founded Shanghai Taobuting Culture Media Co., Ltd. with Zhang Ting and his wife, but he later withdrew from the company.
In response to this, the official Weibo of "TST Court Secret" stated that Shanghai Darway Trading Co., Ltd. is a legally operated company. Since its establishment, it has always followed government guidance, insisted on legal operation, paid taxes in accordance with the law, and will actively cooperate with the work of relevant departments.
Announcement issued by the Yuhua District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Shijiazhuang City shows that the bureau decided to hold a hearing on 14 companies including Shanghai Yuedao E-commerce Co., Ltd., Yingsheng Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Taobuting Culture Media Co., Ltd., Shanghai Darwei Trading Co., Ltd., and Wang Wenhua, Kuang Guiyuan, Zhang Shuqin, Lin Jirong, Tao Hong and other suspected online pyramid schemes at 9:00 on November 4th. This hearing is a public hearing. Among them, Lin Jirong is Lin Ruiyang and Zhang Shuqin is Zhang Ting.
