Young Zhang Junbao (played by Wan Ziliang) turned out to be a handyman monk in the Shaolin Temple. Although he has always yearned to practice martial arts, all he was exposed to every day was chores like laundry and cooking, which made Junbao frustrated. By chance, Junbao was expelled from Shaolin for violating the rules of the Shaolin Temple. Junbao vowed to practice martial arts well and stand out. After leaving Shaolin, Jun Bao met the strange man Tao Shilin by chance. After his persistence, Shi Lin finally agreed to accept him as his disciple. From then on, Jun Bao lived in Shi Lin's house and learned martial arts from him.
