The subjects of the Henan Provincial College Entrance Examination are set to "3+Comprehensive Arts/Comprehensive Sciences". "3" is Chinese, mathematics (subdivided into liberal arts mathematics, science mathematics), foreign language (including listening), which are compulsory subjects for candidates; liberal arts comprehensive (including politics, history, geography) and science comprehensive (including physics, chemistry, biology), Candidates choose one of them according to their own situation. "Comprehensive Arts/Comprehensive Sciences" has a full score of 300 points for each subject, 150 points for all other subjects, and a total score of 750 points.
Candidates who apply for physical education and art majors must pass the corresponding professional examinations in addition to cultural subjects. The professional examinations are organized by the Henan Provincial Education Examination Institute and relevant universities.
The foreign language in the national unified examination subject is divided into 6 languages: English, Russian, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, etc., and candidates can choose one of them to take the exam. The Henan Provincial Foreign Language Examination uses the examination papers containing listening comprehension (including 120 points for the written part and 30 points for the listening part) uniformly ordered by the Education Examination Institute of the Ministry of Education. It will be provided to colleges and universities for reference when submitting files; 120 points for the non-listening part is converted to 150 points.
