First, has added a new enrollment college —— Hunan Software Vocational and Technical University
Hunan Software Vocational and Technical University is located in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. It is an undergraduate-level vocational education pilot school and a model (backbone) higher vocational college in Hunan Province.
The school’s predecessor was Hunan Top Information Vocational and Technical College established in 2001. In 2005, with the approval of the Provincial People's Government and the filing of the Ministry of Education, Hunan Software Vocational College was established. On June 29, 2020, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was successfully upgraded to an undergraduate-level Vocational School.
On May 14, 2021, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Hunan Software Vocational and Technical University.
Second, two new universities have been added to the list of "Huxiang Craftsmen Start a Prairie Fire Plan" training bases, namely Jishou University and Hunan Technology and Business University .
