Pennsylvania State University, University Park (Pennsylvania State University, University Park) was built in 1855 as a public school in State College, Pennsylvania, with a total area of approximately 18,370 acres. It is the flagship school of the University of Pennsylvania system and one of the original eight "public Ivy League schools".
