1. Central South University 2023 Ph.D. Admissions Brochure
With the consent of the school, the "Central South University 2023 Ph.D. Admissions Brochure" is now announced (see attachment 1). Candidates are requested to download and read it carefully, and then log in to the China Postgraduate Admissions Information Network -PhD Online Registration System (http://yz.chsi.com.cn/bsbm) to complete the application in accordance with the requirements of the admissions brochure.
2. Application notes
(1) Application time:
The application time for all types of doctoral students in our school in 2023 is: December 21, 2022 - January 10, 2023.
The relevant application requirements for the Master’s and Doctoral Program, the Ideological and Political Key Program in Colleges and Universities, the Minority Key Program, the Counterpart Support Special Program and the Engineering Doctorate Program are also in the notice.
(2) Attachments that candidates need to upload online
1. Photos (ID photo without makeup, no more than 30k in size);
2. Scanned copy of ID card;
3. Scanned copy of master's degree certificate (graduated) or graduate certificate (currently studying);
4. Scanned copy of master's degree certificate ;
5. Bachelor's degree (junior college if not undergraduate diploma) graduation Scanned copy of certificate;
6. Scanned copy of bachelor's degree certificate (please upload description if you have not obtained bachelor's degree certificate );
7. Electronic registration form or certification report for master's degree (graduated) or student status (currently studying);
8. Electronic registration form or certification report for undergraduate degree (junior college when not receiving undergraduate diploma);
9. Master's degree query Result or certification report (if the master's degree verification is passed, you do not need to submit the master's degree query result or certification report.);
10. Expert recommendation letter;
11. Candidates for the special program must also provide:
(1) To apply for the " High-level Backbone Talents for Ethnic Minorities Program " candidates submit the "Registration Form for the High-level Backbone Talents for Ethnic Minorities Program" (stamped with the official seal of the Civil Affairs Office of the local Department of Education);
(2) To apply for the exam Candidates for the "Special Program for Ideological and Political Backbones in Colleges and Universities to Study for Doctoral Degrees on the Job" submit the "Application Qualification Form for Ideological and Political Backbones in Colleges and Universities to Study for a Doctorate on the Job"; candidates who apply for the "Counterpart Support to Universities in Western Regions" program submit the "Application 20 Approval Form for Candidates of the 23 Years of Counterpart Support for the Targeted Training of Doctoral Students in Universities in Western Regions";
(4) Candidates applying for the "Professional Doctoral Degree in Engineering" for targeted employment shall submit the "Recommendation Letter for Postgraduate Units Applying for Doctoral Degrees in 2023".
12. Physician Qualification Certificate (provided to candidates who have graduated with a master's degree in clinical medicine professional degree!).
(3) Pay the registration fee on the registration website
1. Registration examination fee standard: 350 yuan/person.
2. Payment method: Complete the online payment of the application fee before 17:00 on January 10, 2023.
3. A candidate who applies for multiple registration numbers only needs to pay one application fee (that is, the same ID number only needs to pay one application fee). Once the application fee is paid (including overpayment), it will not be refunded.
(4) Confirmation of online registration information Candidates who have successfully registered for
online and have paid the registration fee must confirm their registration information on the registration website (http://yz.chsi.com.cn/bsbm) before 17:00 on January 10, 2023. The system will no longer be opened for confirmation later. Candidates whose application information has not been confirmed will be deemed to have invalidated their application, and the responsibility shall be borne by the candidates themselves.
Candidates who apply repeatedly and pay multiple times only need to confirm one valid application information. Repeated confirmations will be deemed as invalid application. Please consider carefully and carefully select the application information for confirmation.
(5) Materials that candidates who apply for the assessment system must submit
Candidates who complete the online registration and payment must submit the following materials to the second-level unit in accordance with the requirements of the second-level unit they are applying for before February 20, 2023 (documents and certificates when mailed) (Copy, original will be provided during on-site qualification review):
1. "Application Form for Doctoral Postgraduate Application Assessment System of Central South University in 2023";
2. "Short Form of Online Registration Information for Doctoral Postgraduate Students" (download from the registration website).
3. Original and copy of ID card;
4. Original and copy of graduate certificate (only for fresh master's students);
5. Master's course transcript;
6. Original and copy of master's degree certificate, original and copy of master's degree certificate;
7. Original and photocopy of undergraduate diploma, original and photocopy of bachelor's degree certificate;
8. Original and photocopy of CET-4 and CET-6 certificates or other proficiency test score certificates; publication and retrieval of high-level papers, photocopies of national or provincial-level scientific research award certificates; other performance materials.
9. 2 copies of expert recommendation letters;
10. Educational qualifications, academic records and degree verification materials.
11. Self-recommended materials. Make a summary based on my study and work situation, ideological and political performance, and plan the scientific research to be carried out during the Ph.D.
candidates must submit all application materials and complete the payment process in accordance with the application requirements. Failure to submit the application materials within the deadline will be deemed to have given up the application.
Candidates should contact their tutor before applying, and they can apply only after obtaining the consent of the tutor. Carefully understand and select your application in strict accordance with the application conditions and relevant policy requirements, accurately fill in the registration information and provide authentic materials as required. If the applicant is unable to re-examine or be admitted due to failure to meet the application conditions and relevant policy requirements of our school, or due to incorrect information or false information, the consequences will be borne by the candidate himself.
(6) The arrangements for admissions assessment and re-examination will be notified later.
