This project focuses on two major scientific issues: learning cognitive mechanism and teaching adaptability strategies in the human-machine collaborative teaching environment. project member team has been conducting research on intelligent education and personalized learning for many years, presided over 50 projects related to the National Natural Science Foundation, and published more than 100 papers in first-class journals in the fields of computer science, education, Nature Communications, Computers Education, etc., and won the National Teaching Achievement Special Prize, the China Automation Association Science and Technology Progress Special Prize, the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress First Prize, Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress First Prize, and the National Outstanding Professional and Technical Talent Advanced Collective.

In recent years, Central China Normal University has benchmarked against national strategic needs, deepened institutional and mechanism reform, integrated discipline resources, established the Department of Artificial Intelligence Education, and focused on building an education and innovation highland in the field of "artificial intelligence + education".
