Graduate work visa 485
485 visa is also known as the temporary work visa for graduates, and the validity period ranges from 18 months to 4 years. Most graduates choose to apply for this visa, hold NAATI-related courses or career year courses (PYs), or look for related jobs to get enough scores required by skilled immigration to settle in Australia.
485 visas are divided into two categories:
Post-study work stream (also known as PSW visa)
—Mainly targets students who have obtained their first student visa after November 5, 2011 and have completed two years of undergraduate or postgraduate courses in Australia. Most international students currently use this approach.
Graduate Work Stream (also known as the old 485 visa, GW visa)
—Mainly targets students with two years of skill courses (such as chefs, carpenters) or students in immigration majors such as accounting and IT who have obtained a study visa on November 5, 2011.

Visa duration:
Application for PSW must be a higher education course in Australia for 2 years! 1 year and 1.5 year courses do not meet the requirements!
It is worth noting that graduates can only apply for a work visa once!
If you finish your undergraduate degree, you apply for a graduate work visa, and then you want to study for a master's degree! Then you can't apply again after graduating from a master's degree! So everyone should consider their academic plans!
Deputy applicant/accompaniment visa
mainly refers to accompanying visa! For example, between couples, one party can be attached to the other party! You can spend as long as the visa of the other party is.
For example, Xiao A studied for a major of 1.5 years and could not apply for a PSW graduate work visa. However, Xiao A's couple Xiao B also has a student visa, and you can apply for a work visa after graduation, so Xiao A can be affiliated with Xiao B's visa.
If the other party applies for PR, then PR can also be obtained as a deputy applicant.

Short-term stay
After graduation, if you want to stay for a short period of time, such as 1-3 months, you can apply for a short-term method such as tourist visa! Suitable for students who want to go on a graduation trip or leave Australia after attending a graduation ceremony.
Permanent residence PR
If you want to stay in Australia for a long time, then applying for skilled immigration is the most common way for international students!
Currently, the difficulty of different majors and different skilled immigration visas in Australia is different! Including the region where you choose to study and the region where you choose to apply for the guarantee in the state where you choose to apply for skilled immigration, the requirements are also different.
Skilled immigration is mainly divided into 3 categories:
189 Independent Skilled Immigration
190 State Guaranteed Immigration
491 Remote Area Immigration

Employer Guaranteed Visa
Employer Guaranteed Visa
Employer Guaranteed Not Suitable for Most Students! At present, it is divided into two categories:
482 visa: 2 years of work experience are required to apply!
186 visa: 3 years of work experience are required to apply!
The most difficult part is finding an employer who is willing to provide you with a guarantee! It doesn’t mean that finding a job is equivalent to employer guarantee.
