In mid-to-late October, the 2022 World Skills Competition Special Competition is in full swing in Europe, Asia and other places. Pudong Teachers and students from two universities represent the Chinese national team and won two precious bronze medals: they achieved a breakthrough in China's zero medals in these two events in the World Championships!
World Skills Competition is known as "World Skills Olympic " and is held every two years. Its competitive level represents the world's advanced level of today's professional skills development. The 2022 World Skills Competition Special Competition is the 2022 Shanghai 46th World Skills Competition alternative event.
html At 20:30 on October 23, good news came from Bordeaux, France: After four consecutive days of fierce competition, Wu Yixin, a teacher at the School of Nursing and Health Management of Shanghai Health Medical College, won the bronze medal in the "Health and Social Care" event in the 2022 World Skills Competition Special.This is the second time that Chinese players have been on the World Championships in this event. Wu Yixin competes with players from 14 countries and regions including Switzerland , Germany, France, India, Finland , Singapore, UAE, Thailand, Spain, Hungary, South Africa, Croatia , China Taipei and other 14 countries and regions. She has excellently completed the care tasks of 10 case patients in four modules: hospital, day care center, long-term care center, and family, with a total of 16 tasks and a total working time of up to 21 hours.
The heavy bronze medal hung on Wu Yixin's chest. This is the first time that a Chinese player won the medal in the World Championships event, and has made China a breakthrough in the "language and skills advancement" event in the history of the World Championships. Wu Yixin's excellent achievements are hard-won.
In the first stage assessment of the national team of the 2021 Health and Social Care Project, Wu Yixin won the ticket to participate in the 2022 World Skills Competition Special Championship with the first place. Based on the preliminary training, she conducted a 100-day sprint training with the support of the preparatory team composed of experts and coaches to hone her skills in high-intensity simulation assessment. Five days before the game, Wu Yixin quickly adjusted and entered the game at her best condition after arriving in Bordeaux, France.
On the court, she has superb skills, a bright smile and full of confidence. Facing patients with wound pain after knee joint surgery, she uses her professional skills to relieve the pain for the patients; facing the Down syndrome girl who doesn't want her mother to leave home to work, she uses sweet singing to soothe the child's emotions; facing the stewardess who amputated her limbs after a car accident, she uses listening and understanding to support the patients; facing the Alzheimer's disease patient who cannot find her room, she uses wisdom and warmth to help the patients find the preciousness hidden deep in her heart; facing the disappointed and helpless patients with severe hemiplegia, she uses her superb skills and patient care to help the patients regain their confidence. Wu Yixin's outstanding performance on the field won the praise of " standardized patient ", won the high recognition of referee experts, and won the audience's applause.

Liang Jun, a student at Shanghai Second University of Technology, participated in the competition on behalf of China and won a bronze medal in the "Website Design and Development" project, achieving a breakthrough in China's zero medals in the World Championship.Like Wu Yixin, Liang Jun also experienced four days of fierce battle in the World Championship. "Website Design and Development" is a World Championship project with a large number of participants and fierce competition. It requires contestants to master website design and development skills, including front-end script modules, back-end application modules, content management system modules, and racing modules. Not only are the players required to have good skills and comprehensive qualities, but they also need to have agile on-the-spot adaptability and good psychological qualities.
With the support of the technical support team of the alma mater and Shanghai Information Technology School , Liang Jun devoted himself to preparations. Many sleepless days and nights, strict and even harsh training gave him the ability and confidence to stand on the field of the World Championship and compete with players from all over the world. During the four-day schedule, Liang Jun took the initiative, faced challenges and responded calmly, and finally used a bronze medal to refresh the best results of the Chinese team in this event in the World Championships.
