Except when I am sick or not at home during holidays, I can practice the piano every day. There was a period of time when Xiaobai was sick and had an external cause such as summer vacation. She didn't touch the piano for nearly two months. After she came back, she took a month to return to the level before the summer vacation. The strong sense of frustration made her a little resistant to the piano at one time. Since then, we have paid attention to adjusting the arrangements, basically not delaying her piano lessons and piano practice time.
Every etude, whether it is children or parents, hope to practice it quickly. Sometimes I promise to practice with my child a few times today, but during this process, if you find any mistakes, you must correct them in time, otherwise the more mistakes you make, the more troubles you make, the more troubles you make. Xiaobai and I did this. At the beginning, I would ask her to practice 10 times, but when she practiced 3 or 4 times, I found some problems and would discuss them with her and focus on the one or two sections of the problem. I wouldn't have to play from beginning to end for the rest of the time. This way the child practices the piano in a targeted manner, which also makes her feel "lazy", and she will be happy to do it. When children feel that they have broken through a certain difficulty, they will feel fulfilled and often practice spontaneously several times.
As the song became more and more difficult, Xiaobai's fear of difficulties became more and more afraid of difficulties. He was unwilling to continue learning, did not concentrate in class, and was unwilling to practice piano when he went home. Seeing that his daughter was in a retreat, I was very anxious and communicated with Teacher Yao. The teacher said that this will happen to children who learn piano after a period of time. Don’t be in a hurry, don’t beat or scold or criticize harshly. We should carefully help her overcome it and raise her interest. During this period, my daughter's progress in learning piano was very slow. During that time, during class, the teacher slowed down the course progress based on her situation, tutored her more patiently, and often praised her for her progress and encouraged her. When she didn't want to practice the piano at home, I didn't force her to practice the piano, but encouraged her in the form of celebrity stories and letting her perform for me. Gradually, Xiaobai went through that period and practicing the piano every day became a habit.

When Xiaobai was young, I would follow him and write down the key points of the teacher in class. Usually I record the memorandum on my mobile phone and then copy it in the notes. I remind my children to pay attention when practicing. I need to be very meticulous and patient, slow down the pace and decompose it, and encourage every little progress she makes. I also took my child to watch the movie "Flash Girl" that insisted on learning instrumental music, and bought books such as "Come on, Little Little Piano" to encourage the child to persevere.
