In order to implement the "New Era in My Eyes" theme field trip activity requirements of five departments including the Propaganda Department of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Lin Qiang, a national model military demobilized cadre, national outstanding educator, famous photographer and writer, recently rushed to Ganzi Prefecture with a camera again, using images to witness the changes and development of education over the past ten years.
The third stop, Lin Qiang walked into Daofu County . On October 15, on the way from Luhuo County to Daofu County, Lin Qiang told reporters: "I have always been concerned about the three schools there, two of which are above 3,800 meters above sea level."
Holding the old photos taken more than ten years ago, Lin Qiang visited the boarding school in Yuke District, Daofu County, at an altitude of 3,800 meters. Seeing Grandpa Lin coming, the teacher and students surrounded him. The fifth-grade student Zhimei looked at this photo carefully and shared his thoughts with Lin Qiang: "Thank you Grandpa Lin for leaving us precious photos! Many years ago, my brothers and sisters sat on the steps in front of the classroom door to read books. Now, I can read my favorite "Three Hundred Tang Poems" in the library, and I can also play chess with my classmates in the interest group in the function room!"
Lin Qiang was thinking about Teacher Yu Ke who had to trek through dozens of kilometers of mountain roads to school for classes. "Teacher Lin, look at our new house, it's very comfortable!" Pengcuozhima, the school's teaching director, led Lin Qiang to the newly built teacher apartment in 2013, and had a home chat with Lin Qiang. "Each turnover room is more than 40 square meters, with a kitchen and a bathroom. Teachers can have a warm little home in the school without spending money, eliminating the hardship of long journeys."
"In recent years, thanks to the good policies of national education development, the school has made up for the hardware shortcomings in life and teaching, and teachers and students no longer worry about food and accommodation issues." Pengcuozhima said.
Lin Qiang came from Yuke Town at an altitude of 3,800 meters to Longdeng Township at an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters. He walked into Longdeng Township Central School, took out the old photos of the school taken in 2011, and said excitedly: "It's still this school, this place, but ten years later, the tiled house became a three-story teaching building!"
"The old house became a new building, but the campus cultural tradition has not been lost. The school still properly retained the snow scene murals from 11 years ago, and organized the children to draw murals such as ethnic traditional patterns in the newly built teaching building, giving full play to the role of excellent traditional culture in cultivating people." Principal He Wei walked, while introducing the achievements of campus culture construction to Lin Qiang. Lin Qiang used a camera to record the murals one by one and encouraged the school's practices, "I hope the children will thrive in the beautiful campus."
Every time, Lin Qiang passes through Daofu , he will leave images at Daofu Middle School, and this time is no exception. "The stadium and teaching buildings are all brand new." Dawa Rangbu, secretary of the Party Committee of the school, introduced to Lin Qiang that the school moved to the new campus of the county education park in 2017, and the school area jumped from 24 acres to 147 acres. "While the teaching environment has been changed, we are also focusing on improving software capabilities and improving teachers' business capabilities through cloud teaching and other means."
Daofu Middle School and nearby Chengguan No. 1 Primary School and Chengguan No. 1 Children's School formed the Daofu County Education Park. The park was put into use in 2017, with a total investment of about 350 million and can accommodate 4,200 primary and secondary school students. Lin Qiang looked at the neat and brand new teaching building group and said with emotion: "Ten years ago, I passed by here, and it was still a meadow. Ten years later, Ganzi Prefecture gave education to the flattest land!"
