Nanjing Langya Road Primary School held a solemn and sacred Young Pioneers’ team meeting, and more than 100 Young Pioneers gloriously joined the Chinese Young Pioneers. The students expressed their love for the great motherland and the Communist Party of China through theme reports, songs, poetry recitation, etc., showing the vitality and versatility of the Young Pioneers in the new era.
"Yangtze River Bridge is the first dual-decker railway and highway bridge designed and built by China on Yangtze River . It broke the Guinness World Record of the length of the dual-purpose bridge of the road and railway at that time and showed the power of the oriental lion in front of the world. So everyone proudly called it the "Zhengqi Bridge". Among the Nanjing citizens born that year, there are many names called "Yangtze River" and "Bridge". "In the theme report of "The Bridge Sees the New Era", Shi Xinyu, Wu (3) Ye Song, and Wu (5) Li Yuxi tells the story of the Red Scarf Search Team seeking "bridge" and witnessing the great achievements of New China.
Li Yuxi told reporters that in order to understand the story of the bridge, they visited Wei Leyong, chief designer of 5 Bridge . Uncle Wei took them to appreciate the full picture of the Five Bridges and also introduced them with affectionately the bridge construction technology. Nanjing Yangtze River Five Bridges , with a total length of about 10.3 kilometers, adopts a "bridge + tunnel" design, and has the first to apply information platform management throughout the process, achieving full coverage of 5G signals after opening to traffic. "China's speed amazing the world! As a Chinese, I am deeply proud of the strength of my motherland. I must study hard and contribute my own strength to the motherland when I grow up."
Two "model workers" were also invited to present awards to students who won the " Red Scarf Medal " in the new semester. The two "model workers" are the assistant station manager of Fangjiaying Station of the Gulou District Brigade of Nanjing Fire Rescue Team who won the " China Youth May Fourth Medal " in 2020 and Li Bin, senior tour guide of China Tourism Group's National Tourism Group, who won the "National Tourism System Labor Model " in 2015.
