During college, she won the first-class scholarship on campus many times for her excellent grades and was named an outstanding student cadre.
While learning professional knowledge well, Li Tingting served as the director of the Youth Volunteer Association of the College. "In the Youth Association department, my organizational ability and communication ability have been greatly improved. At the same time, I have also participated in many volunteer activities, from visiting the elderly in the nursing home to volunteer teachers in township mathematics, and then to volunteer counselors of Nanchong Special Schools." Li Tingting said that what impressed her during this period was the activity of being a volunteer counselor in a special school.
"I originally thought that special schools were very quiet, but the moment I stepped into the campus, I heard the sound of reading in the classroom, and saw the innocent and charming smiles of the children on the playground. In 2019, Li Tingting, who graduated from undergraduate studies, decided to study abroad and pursue a master's degree in statistics at the University of Glasgow, UK. "Before I went to study in the UK, I previewed the Chinese versions of the corresponding textbooks in advance in China, and also 'learned' from seniors and sisters of the same major online. At the same time, I read a lot of original English books and movies to allow myself to enter the world of English in advance." Li Tingting said that her sufficient preparation made her perform well during her study abroad.
The global COVID-19 epidemic broke out suddenly in 2020. In June 2020, Li Tingting caught a plane from Edinburgh, England to China organized by the Chinese Embassy and returned to the embrace of her motherland. Li Tingting completed the remaining master's degree courses through online learning.
