In 1955, Henan Baima Temple Water Conservancy School was established. In 1957, it was changed to Henan Water Conservancy School. In 1958, it was upgraded to Zhengzhou Water Conservancy College and then changed to Henan Water Conservancy College. In 1962, it was adjusted to Zhengzhou Water Conservancy School . In 1970, the school was stopped. In 1978, the school was resumed. In 2002, it cooperated with North China Water Conservancy and Hydropower College to hold the Water Conservancy Vocational College of North China Water Conservancy and Hydropower College, and in 2013 it independently runs the school.
