In order to further popularize earthquake prevention knowledge and effectively enhance the risk aversion awareness and self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities of teachers and children in the kindergarten, on September 29, Wubao County Fourth Kindergarten organized teachers and children in the kindergarten to conduct earthquake prevention evacuation drills. In order to ensure the successful and effective implementation of the drill, the kindergarten has formulated a safe and scientific drill plan and an emergency plan for in the early stage. Before the drill, each class carried out earthquake prevention knowledge education. The teacher guided the children to quickly hold their heads and close their eyes, hide under the table, curl up as much as possible, lower their body center of gravity, and protect their heads as much as possible.
As the first drill signal sounded, the anti-seismic evacuation drill officially began. The teachers of each class immediately told the children that "the earthquake is coming, don't panic" and directed the children to take emergency risks. The best emergency response method when an earthquake occurs is to hide on the spot. When avoiding shock, you should choose sturdy items in the room below or beside them. It is best to protect your head and squat down or sit down, and try to curl up.
The second alarm sounded. Teachers from each class organized children to protect their heads with their hands or other items, and quickly and orderly evacuated from the safety passage to the safe and open outdoor venues. During the entire drill, teachers in each class always pay close attention to the safety of the children and squat down when they arrive at the safe area. Teachers in each class count the number of students to ensure that every child is protected.
Through this activity, all teachers and students in the kindergarten have consolidated their knowledge of shock-proof and shock-absorbing and enhanced their protection and self-rescue capabilities. They will take this opportunity to continue to carry out a series of safety education activities and drills, and integrate safety education into the daily life of young children, effectively improving the safety awareness of teachers and students.
