Socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics is a theory that combines Marxist political economics with China's current economic development practice Results. In texts such as "Introduction to the Critique of Political Economy" and "Capital", Marx revealed the methodological limitations of classical economics: "induction" and "deduction" methods are based on economic facts. The connection between economic phenomena and their social nature is replaced by a consistent relationship between them. Therefore, the category system of classical economics does not grasp the essential aspect of the social and economic relations of the modern bourgeoisie, that is, the power of capital over living labor.
Marx's Critique of Political Economy insists on using the "abstract to concrete" method of historical materialism to reveal the realistic sources of economic categories. As a result, it is both theoretical criticism and social criticism, realizing the "terminal revolution" that unifies discourse and social reality, and completing the creative transformation of the classical political economics category system.
This method has important implications for socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics:
First of all, socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics is neither an "positivistic" abstract science nor a statist "normative" National Economics ; is neither "value-neutral" nor "state-centric." It is a grasp of the universal historical laws of the development and operation of the socialist economy and follows the basic principle of people-centeredness.
Secondly, the rich practice of reform, opening up and socialist modernization is the " rich ore " for theoretical and policy research.
