Starting from 2023, all counties (cities, districts) in the city will follow the 2022 tangent for enrollment of ordinary high schools in central urban areas. The admission method is implemented with unified application form, unified admission rules, unified batch admission, and unified one-time solicitation of volunteers.
The scoring method for the 10 subjects of the high school entrance examination is divided into two methods: raw scores and converted scores. The total admission score is 800 points. The three subjects of Chinese, Mathematics, and English have a full score of 150 points each, and the original scores on the test paper will be included in the total admission score. The full score for physical education and health is 40 points. The test scores for physics, chemistry, ethics and rule of law, history, geography, and biology are all 100 points, and 90%, 60%, 50%, 50%, 30%, and 30% of the test scores will be included in the admission. The admissions process for all ordinary high schools must be completed before August 5. The admission order of ordinary high schools is based on the batch order filled in the candidate's application form. When enrolling in each batch of general high schools, candidates must not be admitted in the previous batch, and the submission score must reach the minimum admission control line for ordinary high schools in our city. In addition, to apply for the provincial first-level high school, candidates should have a score of C or above in all nine subjects of the provincial unified examination (referred to as 9C and above), a score of 24 points or more (inclusive) in physical education and health, and a comprehensive score of 24 points or more. Delineation of the finalists for the unified recruitment of high schools in Quanzhou city center: Candidates who meet the admission requirements of this batch will be arranged in order from high to low, and will be delineated according to the ratio of 1:1.2 to the total number of planned batches. The submission score of a shortlisted candidate will be used as the shortlisted work line for this batch.

Ordinary high schools whose enrollment plans have not been completed have set up a batch of volunteers. Candidates who have not been admitted to ordinary high schools can apply for admission again. The time for soliciting volunteers to fill in the application is around July 25, and will be organized by the Municipal Education Bureau.
