After the experimental primary school was transferred to Maojian District in 2020, after many investigations and negotiations by the district committee and district government, the original aging committee land and office buildings adjacent to the school were transferred to the school.

This renovation and expansion project mainly includes classroom and office renovation, house demolition, new student activity venues, etc. The total investment is approximately 4.85 million and is expected to be delivered by the end of August. After the reconstruction and expansion, the teaching space will be increased by 2,100 square meters, the activity venue will be increased by about 1,500 square meters, 10 new classrooms will be added, and the existing 40 large class sizes will be eliminated.

It is understood that the main purpose of the renovation and expansion project of Shiyan Experimental Primary School is to eliminate large class sizes and no longer increase the number of places.
