On June 24, Pucheng County Dongjie Primary School held a grand reading display event on the school playground with the theme of "Pleasant Reading, Beautiful Books, Fragrance and Love, One Tree Can Harvest the Fragrance of the Apricot Altar". All teachers, students and more than 60 parent representatives participated in the event.
activities are divided into three sections: " reading works exhibition, reading achievement exhibition, and poetry competition". In the first section, students exhibited their works on weekdays and World Book Day on April 23, including reading handwritten tabloids, daily reading record cards, handmade books, book waist design, reading annotations, and reading sharing and exchange records. Cards, etc., are full of content and rich in variety, showing the children's daily gains from reading; in the second section, each grade compiled exciting programs based on different reading contents, using "reciting, speaking, singing, acting, and playing allegro" ", Classroom Sharing and Communication" were used to display, among which the third grade used five fables such as " The Foolish Old Man Moves the Mountains", "Pulling Seedlings to Encourage Growth", "Waiting for the Rabbit", "Self-Contradiction" and "The Fox Pretends and the Tiger is Powerful" to reveal life phenomena. Parents were quite inspired and expressed their opinions one after another. My own family education practices; in the third section, the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade pairs were adopted. The host selected poem topics from "Poetry Appreciation" and the whole grade group held a recitation competition. The school selects "Reading Stars" and "Excellent Grades in Extracurricular Reading" based on students' personal reading record cards, reading sharing and communication performance, classic recitation and poetry accumulation.
Books are the source of wisdom. This activity demonstrated the students' reading gains over the past year, further stimulated students' interest in reading, enabled students to experience the joy of reading, accumulated students' cultural heritage, and enriched students' campus life.
