Objectives
To enable students to develop a variety of interpretive perspectives (religious and philosophical) on perennial and contemporary issues in different contexts of public affairs. To help students appreciate and respect diversity in modern society in order to evaluate and deal with conflicting values in a critically intellectual and creative way. To help students further develop and reflect on their own values so that they can justify their decisions, judgments and beliefs to become responsible citizens of their community, country and world. To stimulate students' interest and reflective understanding of public affairs. Increase awareness and knowledge of the value dimensions of discourse in economic, political, legal, social, cultural and environmental affairs.
