Many friends want to turn off the touchpad computer when using ThinkPad laptops, but they don’t know how to operate them. This article talks about related knowledge.
Method 1: Close
Click the start menu in the lower left corner of the computer desktop, find the gear icon in the pop-up interface, and click to enter the system settings interface. As shown in the figure below:
After entering the system settings interface, find the device in the pop-up interface. As shown in the figure below:
Click to enter the device option, find the trackpad in the pop-up interface, and turn off the switch. As shown in the figure below:
ThinkPad laptops use Windows series systems, and this method is applicable to all Windows series systems (restricted by version).
Method 2: Shortcut keys close
If the computer's shortcut key driver is installed correctly, you can directly press the "Fn+F8" key combination on the keyboard to close. If it is in the on state, press it to close, and then press it to open. As shown in the figure below:
It should be noted that laptops are different from desktop computer . Fn and F1~F12 function keys are combined to trigger different functions when the correct driver is installed. If the user does not install the correct driver, then this method is not applicable.
Method 3: Close
under BLOS During the system startup process (press the boot key and continue to press F1 to enter the BLOS program, find the Keyboard/Mouse option in the Config menu option, and turn Touch Just set the Pad to Disabled. As shown in the figure below:
It should be noted that BLOS is the original program started by the computer system. If the user does not understand this knowledge, it is not recommended to use this method to disable it. Once disabled, if you want to turn it on again, you can only reopen it according to the above method. Even if you re-engineer the system, the setting will always take effect.

The difference between ThinkPad computer and other laptops is that it not only equips the user with a touchpad, The user will also be equipped with a red touch button, which can also be used instead of a mouse operation, but it is not a touchpad.
