One of the core functions of iOS 16 is to allow users to customize the iPhone lock screen interface. This feature allows users to create multiple collections with different wallpapers, font settings, and even widgets. However, despite the ability to set multiple customization options, the latest version of the iPhone operating system won't let you create any number of custom lock screens.
According to feedback from Reddit community netizens, each iPhone can set up to 200 customized lock screens in iOS 16. After that, the system prompts the user to delete one of the added collections and then create a new collection. Of course, this limitation may seem more than enough for many users, but interestingly, Apple won't let you create an unlimited number of lock screens.
In the current implementation, browsing 200 lock screen wallpaper options seems less intuitive. This is because you have to swipe in each one, for example, there is no quick way to jump from the first to the last one.
