The smartphone market has hit a roadblock in terms of innovation and improvement. Sure, every year we get phones that perform better than before, but we don’t see a lot of innovation happening in terms of design and other quality-of-life features. Thankfully, the Nothing Phone 1 aims to change that, from Pei Yu ’s Nothing company, and so far, things are looking interesting.
Especially the flashing LED lights on the translucent back panel have attracted many people’s attention. Nothing hopes to end the trend of boring smartphones with its own unique design.
However, there's one thing we're still not sure about, and that's the device's specs. Of course, we've heard rumors in the past that the Nothing Phone 1 would be a mid-range phone. The Nothing Phone 1 looks to be an affordable mid-range phone for anyone who wants something a little different.
Today, we got the specification details of Nothing Phone 1. Indeed, it is a mid-range phone, but it also has reasonable configurations:
120Hz OLED panel
Snapdragon 778G+ SoC
8GB memory
4500mAh battery, 45W fast charging
50 million pixels+1600 Mega-pixel dual rear camera
16-megapixel selfie mirror
Nothing operating interface based on Android 12
The specifications are quite satisfactory, nothing will surprise you, but some of the configurations that should be there are still decent, such as the 4500 with 45W charging power mAh battery, 120Hz OLED, and the 50MP + 16MP sensor combination is less common, we'll have to wait and see how the Nothing Phone 1 performs in terms of optics.
