In the first three quarters of this year, 3.877 million new energy passenger cars were sold domestically, and increased by 113.2% year-on-year, continuing to maintain a rapid growth momentum. Among them, BYD , the leader in domestic new energy vehicles, is even better, and her performance in both September and the first three quarters is excellent.

The second place is SAIC-GM-Wuling . It sold a total of 325,000 new energy vehicles in the first three quarters. The biggest contributor is the national-class magic car Wuling Hongguang MINIEV. Ranked third is Tesla China, which sold a total of 318,200 vehicles, and Tesla Shanghai Super Factory is also one of Tesla's most important factories worldwide.

Geely , GAC Aion and Chery constitute the second echelon of sales, with sales of 205,300, 184,900 and 179,900 units in the first three quarters respectively. Among the new forces in car manufacturing, Nezha Auto won the championship with its performance of 109,800 units, Xiaopeng Auto ranked second with its performance of 98,600 units, and Zero-Portal, Ideal and NIO followed closely with its performance of 87,600, 86,900 and 82,400 units respectively.
In addition to focusing on the domestic market, new energy vehicle companies going overseas has also become a new trend. In the first three quarters of this year, my country's exports of new energy vehicles reached 389,000, an increase of more than 1 times year-on-year. Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association, said that based on the factors of market performance in the first three quarters of this year and the increasing sprint of automakers in the fourth quarter, it is expected that the wholesale sales of new energy vehicles this year will reach 6.5 million vehicles.
