Specifically, the "Notice" proposes that each city coordinates funds to provide car purchase subsidies to individual consumers who purchase more than 50,000 yuan (including) non-operating new cars (including non-operating pickup trucks) from September 1 to November 30, 2022 and register in the province.
Not only that, in order to encourage cities to actively carry out automobile promotion activities, Shanxi Province will also provide 100 million yuan of provincial subsidy funds to support cities in expanding the scale of automobile promotion activities and improving the driving effect of promoting automobile consumption.

The "Notice" emphasizes that this 100 million yuan provincial subsidy is only used for the reimbursement funds for the purchase of automobile consumption activities of cities from September 1 to November 30, 2022 to purchase cars of more than 50,000 yuan (excluding) and 300,000 yuan (excluding) and in principle, the proportion of provincial finance and municipal finance funds matching funds is not higher than 1 to 2.
At the same time, Shanxi Province requires that all cities reissue all automobile subsidies before December 25, 2022.
It is worth mentioning that the "Notice" also encourages cities in Shanxi Province to carry out old-for-new and scrap renewal to promote automobile consumption; and encourages cities in Shanxi Province to organize automobile sales enterprises, refined oil business enterprises, and insurance companies to jointly carry out various forms of promotional activities such as gifting gas cards, car maintenance and repair, and car insurance discounts.
