On October 3, BYD officially announced its sales data for September 2022. According to official statements, BYD's total sales in September were 201,259 units, a year-on-year increase of 151.2%. Among them, the sales volume of passenger cars was 200,973, an increase of 154.3% year-on-year, including 7,736 export models.
Among these 200,000 models, the sales of plug-in hybrid models are 106,032, and the sales of pure electric EV models are 94,941, and the proportion of plug-in hybrid models is relatively higher.
Specifically in terms of car models, the sales of BYD Han family in September were 31,497 units, of which the Han DM series increased by 645% year-on-year, and the family's cumulative sales exceeded 330,000 units.
BYD Tang family sold 15,058 units in September, of which Tang EV increased by 536.6% year-on-year, and the family's cumulative sales exceeded 380,000 units.
BYD Song family sold 46,475 units in September, including 541 export models, of which the Song DM family increased by 294.3% year-on-year, and the family's cumulative effect exceeded 1.34 million units.
BYD Qin family's cumulative sales in September were 39,515 units, of which Qin EV sales increased by 142.1% year-on-year, and Qin's cumulative sales exceeded 760,000 units.
BYD Yuan family sold 23,503 units in September, including 6,368 export models, of which the Yuan EV series increased by 67.6% month-on-month, and the family's cumulative sales exceeded 370,000 units.
BYD Seals sold 7473 units in September, and their performance was also relatively excellent. After all, this can basically be considered as the sales volume in the first month of its launch.
Destroyer 05 sold 9,101 units in September. As a sedan of Ocean Network, although its sales performance is not as amazing as the Qin family, it is also steadily improving, and it is expected to achieve monthly sales of over 10,000 this year.
BYD Dolphins sold 24,956 units in September, a year-on-year increase of 731.9%, and the cumulative sales have exceeded 150,000 units.
