The wave of electrification is huge. In just a few years, today’s automobile market has changed. There are more and more pure electric models. Started to stand in C position. However, whether it is the fuel era or the electric trend, domestic consumers have always been enthusiastic about SUV models. Looking around, the top sales in today's pure electric vehicle market must be SUV models. In previous issues of "Daily Practicality Test Report", we have tested many pure electric medium-sized SUVs. Although they use electric drive, do the practical performance of these models in daily use meet expectations? Will new power brands suffer from lack of experience? Today we will conduct a horizontal review of three representative and qualified models from the perspective of daily practicality testing. They are Leapmo C11 (Picture | Configuration | Inquiry), Weimar W6 (Picture | Configuration | Inquiry) (Picture | Configuration | Inquiry) and Tesla Model Y (Picture | Configuration | Inquiry) (Picture | Configuration | Inquiry). 1. In-car comfort configuration test comparison
Among the three models, only the Tesla Model Y is not equipped with a rear center headrest, which affects the riding comfort of the middle rear passenger. And head safety will have a certain impact. Both Leapmotor C11 and Weimar W6 are equipped with a headrest in the middle of the rear seat. Not only does the size not shrink significantly, the internal filling is also softer, and both support up and down adjustment. The overall performance is satisfactory.
As for the front center armrest, the three models are all wrapped in leather materials with excellent texture. Unfortunately, they do not support angle and front and rear adjustments, which makes them less adaptable to the driver. Among them, the armrest of the Leapmo C11 is located low. If you want to get sufficient support, you must actively "lean" up, and the comfort is average. In comparison, the armrests of the WM W6 and Tesla Model Y are positioned higher, thus providing good support for the driver's elbows in standard sitting positions.
Judging from the test data, the adjustable range of the main driver's seat of the three models is relatively good. The measured results of Leapmoon C11 and Tesla Model Y are 29cm and 26cm respectively. The performance of WM W6 is slightly inferior. , but it also reaches 22cm, which can meet daily use. As for the steering wheel, the angle adjustment of Tesla Model Y reaches 14.3°, and the front-to-rear adjustable distance is 6cm, which has obvious advantages over the other two models. The steering wheel of WM W6 has an adjustable angle of 6.5° and a front-to-back distance of 4cm. Due to the special reasons of the test drive of Leapmoon C11, the adjustable distance of the steering wheel front and rear could not be measured. Overall, the performance of the three models in terms of interior comfort configuration is mediocre. There are no surprising highlights and no shortcomings. They can be regarded as useless. Of course, the front center armrests of the three models all adopt a non-adjustable fixed design, and the comfort performance is average, which is indeed regrettable.
2. Multimedia configuration test comparison
1. USB power interface
In terms of charging interface, the performance of the three models is different. Among them, Leapao C11 is equipped with 2 USB Type-C interfaces and 1 12V power supply in the front storage compartment. There are 2 USB interfaces under the rear air-conditioning outlet. After testing, the voltage of the rear USB interfaces is 5.06 V, the current is 1.02A; the two front USB interfaces of Weimar W6 are located in the mobile phone wireless charging pad under the center console, and the rear USB interface is located under the rear air-conditioning outlet. After testing, the voltage and current of the front USB interface are 4.98V and 1.22A, and the rear USB interface is 5.06V and 1.54A. In comparison, the charging efficiency of the rear USB interface is higher; Tesla Model Y is in the front/rear row Each is equipped with 2 Type-C interfaces. Since the popularity of Type-C interfaces is not high at present, the traditional USB Type-A interface is more practical.
2. Car navigation
Leapmoon C11 is like most new car manufacturers. The main interface of the central control screen is the navigation map, which is very convenient to operate. The test car has a built-in Amap navigation system. The operation method is similar to that of a mobile phone, and it also has an Lenovo search function, which improves the convenience of use. After confirming the destination, the system will recommend three routes to choose from. Click on the route preferences in the upper right corner. The system will also provide four options: avoid congestion, highway priority, not taking the highway, and avoid tolls. In addition, the navigation system can also add "way points", which is rich in functions and has greater flexibility in use.
The navigation interface of Weimar W6 supports both Pinyin and handwriting input methods. When using the keyboard for input, the virtual keys are larger in size and reasonably laid out. Although the handwriting input system has a high recognition rate and a fast response speed, the initial area of the virtual handwriting pad is small, and the area will only automatically expand after starting to write. The design is novel, but it is not convenient for daily use. After entering the destination, the system will quickly associate relevant destination information based on the keywords. After clicking on the destination to start navigation, the system will provide a variety of route options, and users can choose the most suitable option according to their own needs.
The navigation system equipped with Tesla Model Y has Lenovo function, but after confirming the location, the navigation will only provide one path to choose from. In terms of details, the left side of the navigation interface will be marked with detailed guidance on turns or entry/exit auxiliary roads, which is very practical. In addition, the navigation settings bar also provides options for avoiding toll stations, license plate restrictions, and simple navigation broadcasts. Drivers can set them according to their own needs.
The navigation interface of Leapmoon C11 can be projected into the dashboard, and WM W6 also supports this function. After navigation starts, WM W6 will provide three mapping display options on the right side of the full LCD instrument panel, including guidance information, small thumbnail maps and large thumbnail maps. Unfortunately, it does not support the full-screen map display function. Since Tesla Model Y is not designed with an independent dashboard, this function cannot be implemented.
3. Comparison of in-car storage space
In terms of in-car storage space, as medium-sized SUVs, the overall performance of the three models is relatively good. Although the number of storage slots is different, the location design is reasonable and the volume is relatively objective, which can basically meet the needs of daily use.
Leapmoon C11 is designed with a total of 9 storage compartments. Although the number is not large, the location design of each storage compartment is very reasonable. There is a tablet with a non-slip pad directly in front of the front drain cup holder, and it supports wireless charging of mobile phones. In addition, this area is also equipped with a storage slot with a cover, and the internal volume is good. The amount of storage in the rear row is small. Except for the rear door panel storage slots and the central armrest water cup holder, there is no storage place. Even the front seats are not equipped with rear storage bags, which is a bit regretful.
The WM W6 provides a total of 12 storage spaces (except cup holders), with a large number of storage spaces in the front row. The front door panel storage compartment adopts a through-type design and provides an independent water cup slot. On the left side of the steering wheel There is also a small storage compartment designed to store some change or bills. A wireless charging pad for mobile phones is provided at the front of the central tunnel, and the bottom of the center console is also hollowed out to form an open storage space. The central armrest box has a large internal volume and good practicality.
Tesla Model Y has a total of 9 storage spaces (excluding cup holders) in the entire car. Each storage slot has a considerable volume and is well designed in detail. The storage slot on the front door panel has a large volume and a large area of flocking material inside, which looks very classy. There is no stopper inside the front drain cup holder, which is a pity. The storage slots in the rear door panels are similar to those in the front ones, with considerable volume. There are also backpacks behind the front seats, but the backpacks are slightly tight and can only accommodate smaller items. In addition, the rear armrest box is equipped with two water cup holders with stoppers inside.
