In the golden autumn season, I took a taxi to the thousand-year-old temple Donglin Temple , visited the thousand-year-old temple and felt the Buddhist culture .
Donglin Temple was first built in Eastern Jin , and it is more than 1,600 years ago. It is the birthplace of the Pure Land Sect of Buddhism and a key temple in the country.
It is surrounded by red walls, and it is grand and magnificent. The building unfolds on the central axis, including the Mountain Gate Hall, the Qinglian Pagoda, the Heavenly King Hall, the Great Hall, and the Sutra Tower. There is a sweet and delicious Clever Spring behind the Sutra Tower, and further to the back mountain is the Wenshu Pagoda being built. I want to see Donglin Big Buddha I heard from the temple that it is more than 20 kilometers away from this place.
Walking in Donglin Temple, I feel the scenery is beautiful, with palaces and pavilions, radiant blue, Fanyu solemn, it is a pure place and a paradise. Coming here will purify the soul.
Especially behind the Jade Buddha Building, there is a clear spring called Congming Spring. It does not dry up all year round. There are volunteers in the temple to help tourists and pilgrims pour water. I asked the volunteers to pour me a cup. After drinking it, I felt refreshed and sweet, so I drank the second cup.
