In 1992, according to religious rituals, the State Council Bureau of Religious Affairs approved the successor of the 17th Karmapa Living Buddha, which is the first reincarnated living Buddha appointed by the State Council since the democratic reform of Tibet.
Karmapa's Dharma lineage inheritance is from Vajra Buddha to India, and then to the great translator Marpa in Tibet, from Marpa to the famous Milarepa Master, from Mirarepa to the great doctor of Gangpoba, from Mirarepa to the great doctor of Gangpoba, from Gangpoba to the first Karmapa (1110-1193), and has been passed down to the current 17th Karmapa. Karmapa Lama has made special contributions and great contributions to Tibet.
From Sakyamuni Buddha to Tibet's female master Majilazhen all predicted that Karmapa and Tsongkhapa were the personal incarnations of Guanyin Bodhisattva in Tibet, while Guru Padmapa predicted that Karmapa would be reincarnated for twenty-first lifetimes. Among them, the third Karmapa established the system of reincarnation of living Buddhas in Tibet, the fourth Karmapa was the convert master and lay teacher of Master Tsongkhapa, the fifth Karmapa was the mentor of Emperor Yongle of Ming Dynasty, the sixteenth Karmapa was the first person to bring Buddhism to the West, and the seventeenth Karmapa Ujinqinle Dorje, the great treasure king of Karmapa Ujinqinle Dorje, was born in Kangzang and was foreshadowed as one of the world spiritual leaders in the 21st century.

As the founder of the Tibetan Living Buddha Reincarnation System, Karmapa would predict the place where the next life will be reincarnated, the date of birth, the name of the parents, the auspicious signs at birth, and the birth of the people. People will find the direction of the next life's reincarnation based on the prophecy left by people in the previous life.
Dharma King is the reincarnated living Buddha recognized by all sects of Tibet, who are the highest in meditation and enlightenment, and is responsible for certifying other living Buddhas. The Dafa Kings of all dynasties have been the masters of many emperors and kings, including Mengge , Kublai , Ming Chengzu Emperor Yongle. According to the scriptures, the Great Treasure Dharma King was the incarnation of Guru Padmasambhava, and will become the sixth Buddha of the Kalpa of Virtue - Master and Son Buddha after Maitreya Bodhisattva (the fifth Buddha of the Kalpa of Virtue).
The Master Lianhuashan who brought Buddhism to Tibet once predicted that in the future, a person named "Gamba" who practiced Buddhism will appear and become the most important spiritual leader in the world.
Two thousand years ago, Sakyamuni Buddha predicted that in the future, there would be a spiritual leader who would become the world's attention, and the prophecy was called "Gamba". Karmapa was also the first reincarnated living Buddha certified by the Chinese government since 1959.

until eleven years after the death of the Sixteenth generation Great Treasure Dharma King, one day, Great Situ Rinpoche suddenly remembered that the Dharma King left him a treasure box in the early month before his death, and opened it one day in 1990 in the Year of the Snake. He found a letter with a red pen on the envelope, "This letter should be opened in 1991 in the Year of the Horse."

In March 1992, Dashit Rinpoche handed this letter to the three other 16th Great Treasure Dharma Kings in Longde Temple in Sikkim. Now this letter is protected by the Sikkim police in the Buddhist temple, written in Tibetan as follows:
"Ah Mah, I realize that I am blessed. The Dharma Realm has no center or boundaries. From here to the north, to the east of the snow, there is a country where there is a magical thunder that sounds from time to time, and sometimes it naturally sounds. In the beautiful nomadic area, there is a cow as the emblem. The sign is the Dungzhu, and the wisdom is the Lolaga. Born in the year of use with the earth, the sound of the miraculous white objects lingered and spread from afar. This is the "Karmapa" we all know. Everything about him is proved by the Venerable Dunyue Zhubei. He is spread all over the ten directions, not close to a group of people, nor far away from others. He is the guardian of all sentient beings. The Dharma teachings of Buddha are like the sun, constantly radiating its light to benefit others."
This prophecy letter was explained by Katcha Rinpoche. The meaning of the letter was:
"From this to the north, there is a country on the east side of the snow." [This] refers to Longde Temple . To the north of Longde Temple is Tibet. [Snow] has always been the name of Tibet for Tibet. [East of the snow] refers to Kang District , which is the past Xikang .
"There is a magical thunder there", [magic] means referring to La in Tibetan, [thunder] means Tuo, and the magical thunder is Latuo. There is only one village in Kang District called Latuo.
"In the beautiful nomadic area, there is a cow as a Huizhao, and Ku means [cow], and the Buddhist term is called Tuoku, which means that the place where he was born was in a nomadic community, and the name must have the word Ku.
"Convenience is Dunzhu, wisdom is Luolaga". [Convenience] In Tibetan Buddhism, convenience is male, [wisdom] is female, his father is Dunzhu and his mother is Luolaga.
"Born in the year of use with earth" refers to the birth date of the Great Treasure Dharma King. Trees are born from earth, and cattle can be used to plow the land. That is to say, the Great Treasure Dharma King must be born in the year of the Wood Ox in 1985.
"The sound of a miraculous white object is lingering", [White object] refers to a white conch. After his birth, the sound of a white conch sounded in the air and lasted for an hour.
"Everything he was confirmed by Venerable Dunyue Zhubei", referring to the Grand Situ Rinpoche, who was also certified by him in the last term.

In a valley on the plateau, there is a grassland in front of it. To the south of the valley, there is a beautiful stream. In a nomadic village in Latto, there is a herdsman's house. His father's name is Dunzhu and his mother's name is Lolaga. After his birth, the sky made a lingering conch sound. It was born in the Year of the Wood Ox. This is the birthplace of the Great Treasure Dharma King of the Seventeenth generation.
The Great Situ Rinpoche, Shama Rinpoche, and Ghacha Rinpoche asked Jiang Gong Rinpoche to be responsible for the plan to find the reincarnation of the Great Treasure Dharma King, and secretly arrived in Tibet. One morning in the spring of 1992, Jiang Gong Rinpoche flew from India to Tibet. His driver had a car accident for the first time, and Jiang Gong Rinpoche passed away in the car accident. (In order to save the birds in the middle of the lane... Wuchang is so terrible, no one can stop it)
Big Situ Rinpoche had to send the prophecy letter to " Chubu Temple ". After reading the letter, Zhu Ben Rinpoche of Chubu Temple read the letter, he immediately asked his supervisor, a younger brother Lama and a central official to search for it secretly. After driving for several days, he arrived at a valley. There was no road ahead. With the help of local villagers, he changed his horse and rode in. He also rode for several days. Finally, he arrived at the village in Latoon. There was a temple in the village. They were worried that the King of the Great Treasures had been recognized here, so they began to interrogate the abbot and began to pay attention to every little lama here. Do they know that the King of the Great Treasures is also in the crowd of this little lama.
The old lama here said that he has the ability to see if the young lama is a practitioner, but he does not have the ability to see their past lives. Rinpoche asked if there was a father named Dunzhu and his mother named Lolaga. If he made something special and heard something special seven years ago, everyone said there was. One day seven years ago, there were a lot of horn sounds. At that time, we all clasped our hands and ran out to see it happily, thinking that the Great Rinpoche was here.
Ren The Poches said goodbye to them and continued on the road. They continued to search and arrived at a nomadic area and found a valley. Sure enough, there was a small river on both sides, a very beautiful grassland in front, and then to the east was a mountain. They were very excited, but a little nervous. Finally, they came to a tent and asked others if there was a father named Dunzhu and his mother named Luolaga. The locals replied that there was. In order to reduce obstacles, they dared not speak out directly. They just said they wanted to find a Rinpoche, and the villagers took them to a tent.
When they walked into the tent, they were frightened by the scene in front of them. It turned out that the Great Treasure Dharma King had already sat and waited for them, as if they had known that they were here to pick him up, and their whole expression and expression were exactly the same as the Sixteenth Great Treasure Dharma King.

Reincarnated Great Treasure Dharma King returned home
They quickly took the Great Treasure Dharma King back to his ancestral temple Chubu Temple. The Great Treasure Dharma King's expression was not like a child who left his parents and left his grassland hometown, as if he had returned home, and his expression was very natural and relaxed.
Not long after returning, a charade ceremony was held at Jokhang Temple , which was held in front of the Buddha statue of Sakyamuni Buddha at the age of twelve years old. This Buddha is the most precious Buddha statue in Tibet. It was brought in by Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty. The Great Treasure Dharma King's parents are also here. They understand that they are just people who brought the Great Treasure Dharma King to this world. They are also sitting outside like other believers, quietly waiting to pay homage to the Great Treasure Dharma King.
The Great Treasure Dharma King sat all day from morning to night, accepting offerings from thousands of people. His expression was very natural. I heard that as long as you see the Great Treasure Dharma King, you will not fall into the evil path for seven lifetimes.
In the end, it was Dabao's parents' turn to say goodbye to him, and they were going to return to the nomadic area to live. The Great Treasure Dharma King said goodbye to his parents, and this scene was the most touching when he said goodbye to his younger brother.
The Great Treasure Dharma King certified that other young Rinpoche reincarnation
Jiang Gong Rinpoche, one of the four great methods, Jiang Gong Kangchu Rinpoche, one of the four great methods, passed away in a car accident while going to verify and find the 17th great treasure Dharma King in the last century. His disciple, Tianjin Lama, had been looking for his master's reincarnation in 1992, but he could not find it, so he had to go to Chubu Temple to pay homage to the Great Treasure Dharma King. At that time, the Great Treasure Dharma King was only twelve years old. The Tianjin Lama asked the Great Treasure Dharma King to use meditation to help him see where Jiang Gong Rinpoche was reincarnated? The Great Treasure Dharma King said, "You didn't have faith in me before, but I'm a child."
Tianjin Lama was shocked when he heard this. The Great Treasure Dharma King said again, "But you come to me thousands of miles away and you still have confidence in me." After that, he took out the paper and pen and drew where Jiang Gong Rinpoche was reincarnated, the mountains, rivers, valleys, etc.
Tianjin Lama was stunned when he saw the picture. He looked for it, but he still couldn't find it, so he had to muster up the courage to ask the Dabao Dharma King again.
The Great Treasure Dharma King smiled and said, "Don't be anxious, don't be anxious, I had a dream a few days ago and knew where he was reincarnated." He wrote down the place where Jiang Gong Rinpoche was reincarnated, his parents' name, and his birthday to the Tianjin Lama.
Tianjin Lama took the prophecy letter from the Great Treasure Dharma King and went to a very distant village to find Jiang Gong Rinpoche. It was completely in line with the prophecy in the letter. In a village, there was only one family with eight brothers and sisters. There happened to be a little boy only one year old. The child immediately smiled when he saw the Tianjin Lama. Tianjin Lama saw the one-year-old master Rinpoche crying. When he saw the master's expression, he knew that the master completely recognized him and knew that he was his previous generation attendant. Tianjin Lama took the one-year-old Rinpoche back.
Reincarnated Jiang Gong Rinpoche began his retreat practice for several years. Strangely, he didn't like to sit in the house after he came back, but he liked to meditate on the mountain where he had practiced before. He seemed to have been familiar with and used to this environment.
