came into contact with Buddhism when I met a mother who was taking her children to a training class. She took the scriptures with her and copied them quietly while waiting for her children to go to class.

We were chatting about daily parenting, and curiously asked her what she was doing. She said she was copying the Heart Sutra. Copying scriptures can make her emotionally calm and face her children and family in a better state.

Later I discovered that her method is also used by many people. Even if they don’t understand the meaning of the scriptures, they can really calm down a lot by copying them when they feel upset.

I don’t like writing very much, so I didn’t copy or chant sutras, but I became somewhat interested in Buddhism. After listening to some masters talking about Buddhism, I admired the Buddha’s great wisdom even more.

Buddha was originally a crown prince. He faced internal and external governance of the country, and the problems and struggles between various ethnic groups and sects were complex and difficult to solve. He sought liberation and finally attained enlightenment.

He gave up the throne of reality, but established his own spiritual kingdom, providing a practical healing method for future generations of people who were hurt by reality and were helpless.

This is what I understand. It is different from praying to gods and Buddhas in temples. We don’t need to pray or ask for anything. We only need to practice the Buddha’s way of life, and we will have inner peace and perfection.
