This passion seed rosary is a blessing from Zajiram

Among my many rosary works, there is a very special rosary, which I have been keeping carefully until now. Whenever I see it, it reminds me of that beautiful Tibetan girl.

I remember it was 2014. The dazzling sun, Lhasa, Auspicious Zaki and her great temple an ordinary afternoon.

After a morning of Buddhist events, I came out of the Auspicious Zaki Great Temple. It was almost two o'clock in the afternoon. I habitually walked towards the happy teahouse. Many years of traveling to and from Lhasa have made my activities near major monasteries a kind of subconscious behavior.

walked into the tea house, sat down, and ordered sweet tea and buns.

Since it is already afternoon, there are not many people in the teahouse. I remember there are two or three tables. Sitting directly across from my table is a Tibetan girl who looks like her in her early twenties, wearing traditional Tibetan clothes, a standard Lhasa local girl.

When I looked at her, she also happened to look at me, looking slightly awkward and embarrassed. I just noticed that there were many rosary beads scattered on the table in front of her. She seemed to be trying to use a thread that didn't seem to be long, trying to wear these scattered beads.

I watched for a while, and she seemed to notice that I was observing her, and the movements on her hands became more and more messy. I took out a small bundle of thread for rosary beads from the bag I carried, then got up and walked over, smiling and handing the thread to her. She looked a little nervous. I said to her: "Come on, use this." Her face was obviously flushed, and after hesitating for a while, she finally reached out and took it.

This process seems to make us become acquainted.Tibetan girls are usually more cheerful, and we started to talk. She raised the thread in her hand and asked, "Are you from Beijing? Why would you take this with you?" I said, "Yes. I am a craftsman who specializes in making rosary beads. I came to Tibet to collect good materials. Find the material and inspiration for designing rosary."

She looks very green and simple, and she always smiles at me when she speaks. I asked her: "Your family is all Nyingmapa (Tibetan Buddhism Red Sect Nyingma sect )?"

She looked at me in surprise and asked how I knew?

I said, "It's very simple. The rosary you use is from Rezhen Temple, passion seed, and it's truly wild. Both ends of each bead are ground and cut by hand. This style Only the local people near Rezhen Temple do this. And the color of your bead is so beautiful, obviously it has been used for many years. The rosary is also hung on the rosary, which represents one of the three great guardians of the Nyingma School, Lahu. It’s already obvious...”

She still asked unwillingly: “Then why is my family all ningmapa ?” She looked innocent and innocent. It looked like I smiled, shrugged, and motioned to her not to stop the work she was doing. Then he said to her: "You have so many cut beads on your rosary, but there is no enlightenment rope. From the cut beads, you at least support Bandaram (Auspicious Goddess), Holy Salvation Tara (Green Tara) ) And La Hula. You can’t cultivate the Dharma protectors who don’t confess, but you should have inherited them. You are so young, where are so many Dharma protectors? Obviously from home." She giggled. , How do you know so much as a Han Chinese? I laughed too.

She said that she was called "Dolma" and was born in a traditional Zima family. Grandfather used to be a Dasang (approximately equivalent to the village head). The Khenpo of the monastery is very familiar with Geshe, so there are many deities, protectors and inheritances in her family. Since childhood, he has been devoted to Buddhism with his family.

As we talked, we gradually got acquainted. I took the messy rosary she was wearing. While helping her tidy up, while asking her practice inheritance. I told her that there are certain rules and designs for rosary penetration.

First I help her sort all the remaining loose beads one by one. Divide them according to size, put them in two piles, and then carefully distinguish the cutting angle of each bead. Arrange similar beads according to their size. Then I asked her whether she usually practiced Buddhism? Is there any daily homework? In order to help her arrange the position of the bead cutting. She is very skinny, like a child, and keeps letting me guess. But where do I guess something beyond the appearance?

It took more than half an hour, and I finally helped her put the remaining beads together. After looking at it, it still feels messy, but after I put it on, it finally looks regular.

I told her: This is a good match for the rosary. But the rosary in this state cannot be used. You have to re-select the thread when you formally wear it, and then ask the master to bless the rope, and chant one by one when you wear it. Can be reused. Fortunately, Zhuo Ma is Tibetan, and many basic rituals and rules are still clear.

She took the rosary which she put on and looked at the half that I put on her. After looking at it for a long time, I begged to say: This side is so beautiful, there is a mess... Will you help me to do it again? I was a little embarrassed at the time, and I had to go to other monasteries in the afternoon. Come, I will leave Lhasa the day after tomorrow, the schedule is very tight. So I replied to her according to the facts. She seemed a bit lost at first... But she quickly suggested that she could give me the rosary first, and when I returned to Beijing, I could help her fix it and send it back to her after I returned to Beijing. I thought the little girl was very interesting, so I agreed. We added WeChat to each other, and then I returned to Beijing.

We did not contact us for the next half month. After returning to Beijing, I was busy, until more than 20 days later, I finally helped her put on the rosary. I wanted to use WeChat to talk to her by voice that night, but she didn't answer it. I didn't care. I left a message for her, saying that the rosary has been fixed, and asked her to send an address, and I would send it back for her.

But after that, I never got her reply... In the following month, I called her several times and left messages repeatedly, but there was no news. I checked her circle of friends, and the last one was probably about a week before we met, and then it was never updated.

In the following years, I took this rosary back to Lhasa many times and returned to the Happy Tea House, so that it became a habit these years. However, I have never seen her again... The owner of the tea house and the masters of the Auspicious Zaki Grand Temple also have no impression of her. In this way, this rosary has accompanied me for many years. Every time I wear it, I feel that many complicated things become "smooth", and some good things always happen.

Zhuoma, are you... okay now?
