At the Bon Dharma Assembly , Guanyin Bodhisattva received the Buddha's order to find a Buddhist scripture collector for the Buddha. Before leaving, she also received 5 magic weapons passed down to her by the Buddha.

Anuo, Venerable Kasyapa first took out a brocade cassock and a nine-ring tin staff. Tathagata Buddha told Guanyin Bodhisattva: But I am afraid that it is difficult for good believers to practice. If you wear this cassock, you can avoid falling into reincarnation; if you hold my tin staff, you can avoid being poisoned by demons. These two pieces should be given as gifts to the person who takes the scriptures for personal use.

Later, the Buddha personally took out three hoops and gave them to Guanyin Bodhisattva to deal with the disobedient and powerful demons on the way to the West.

In the myth of Journey to the West, Guanyin Bodhisattva used three golden hoops on the Monkey King Sun Wukong, the black bear spirit in the Batu Cave, and the Holy Infant King Red Boy in the Fire Cloud Cave in Haoshan.

Although there are three of the same three, they are only used in different ways. I have 3 "Golden Forbidden" spells. If you encounter a demon with great magical powers on the road, you must first persuade him to learn it well and become an apprentice with the Buddhist monk. If he is disobedient, you can put this hoop on his head and the flesh will naturally take root. Then recite this mantra one time, and his eyes will swell, he will have a headache, and his forehead will be cracked. I will discipline him to be obedient and enter my Buddhist door!

From this passage recorded in the original work of the author Wu Chengen, it is not difficult to analyze that the Tathagata Buddha gave Guanyin Bodhisattva three tight hoops for the following purposes: first, to help Guanyin Bodhisattva form a sutra collection team to ensure that the sutra collectors can successfully obtain the true scriptures; second, to deal with the disobedient and capable "thorn heads" in the team; third, there are three tight hoops in one, which can be used in the same sutra collection team or among three members of the sutra collection team.

Looking at the entire Journey to the West, Guanyin Bodhisattva sets out from the Great Leiyin Temple in Lingshan Mountain in the West and goes to the Tang Dynasty in the East. On the way, by the Liusha River of Eight Hundred Miles, he is the first person to meet and gain the trust of the Heavenly Court Jade Emperor - General Rolling Blinds. Guanyin Bodhisattva was compassionate and generous when giving enlightenment to the three members of the Buddhist scripture-seeking team. He even came to heaven in person and expressed his love to the Jade Emperor, which was a matter of course.

But when we came to Five Elements Mountain, Guanyin Bodhisattva behaved differently.

Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at the "Six-Character Mantra" with thousands of golden lights and thousands of auspiciousness on the top of the Five Elements Mountain, and also looked at the Monkey King, the Monkey King, who was suffering under the mountain. He sighed with pity and unconsciously recited a verse: It's a pity that the monster monkey was not loyal to the public, and was arrogant to show off as a hero. He deceived his heart and disrupted the Peach Club, and boldly went to Tushita Palace privately. Invincible among hundreds of thousands of troops, there is majesty in the nine heavens. I have been trapped by my Buddha Tathagata, how can I relax and show my strength again!

After losing his freedom, Sun Wukong opened his fiery eyes immediately after learning the identity of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and cried out, hoping that the great and merciful Guanyin Bodhisattva could save him from the mountain.

Guanyin Bodhisattva said: Although I can save you from the mountain, the person who saves you is not me, nor at this time! However, your sins are so serious that it would be unsightly to save you, lest you cause trouble again!

When Guanyin Bodhisattva saw Sun Wukong's regret and request, he was filled with joy. He compassionately gave Sun Wukong a Dharma name and reminded him to pay attention to the Tang Dynasty monk who went to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures.

From these plots, it can be inferred that the true intention of the Tathagata Buddha when he first gave the three tight hoops to Guanyin Bodhisattva was probably specially prepared for Sun Dasheng ! Taking a step back, among the three tight hoops, there are also Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing.

However, the Buddha and Bodhisattva did not expect that Bajie and Sha Seng changed roles very quickly and quickly integrated into the Buddhist scriptures team.

Only Sun Wukong, the main backbone member of the Buddhist scriptures team, had some problems with his character and working methods. He was dissatisfied with Tang Monk's discipline and restraint, and internal divisions occurred.

Then Guanyin Bodhisattva transformed into an old mother and secretly taught Tang Monk the Tightening Curse. She used the shape of a hat to trick Sun Wukong into wearing it on his head.

The reason why Guanyin Bodhisattva later divided the Tightening Curse into three parts was because he found that a single Tightening Mantra could control Sun Wukong. There was no need to continue to recite the remaining two in turn.

The Buddha was worried that other members of the team might not obey the discipline, but it did not happen, and there was no need to waste two magic weapons.

On the way to learn the scriptures, the black bear spirit in the Batu Cave in Black Wind Mountain took advantage of the fire and stole the Jinlan cassock given to Tang Monk by Tathagata Buddha. Red Boy, who is proficient in the true fire of Samadhi, insisted on eating Tang Monk's meat, which touched the "cake" of the Three Realms scripture collecting project.

Helpless, the two fairies have both the talent to become immortals and great supernatural powers. Guanyin Bodhisattva pushed the boat along, and together they used the two golden and forbidden mantras to bring the black bear spirit and the red boy to their side. As the good fortune boy and the Putuo Mountain guardian mountain god, they will promote Buddhism and benefit the common people!
