Qing Dynasty Zen Master Xingsen, whose name was Saixi and Ciweng. He was from Boluo and his family's surname was Li. Born to be extraordinary and energetic, when he grew up, he felt uncomfortable one day. When he was sleeping, he suddenly heard the sound of drums and trumpets. He suddenly realized that a person's aptitude and origin should rely on his own practice. He did not follow him, so he decided to become a monk.
So he entered the Hunting Sect under Master Xue Qiaoxin. After Master Xin passed away, he also worshiped Zen Master Yu Linxiu, who was given the title of "National Master Dajue Puji Nengren", in order to understand his own mind and gain enlightenment.
Because of his unique qualifications and his academic performance, Master Xiu sent him to teach and guide sentient beings from all directions so that those who are destined to participate in the Dharma and be liberated as soon as possible. It was regarded as a great repent that split the sea for a while, which shows his greatness and some people call him the Iron Rod. He saved the crowd as he pleased and went to Longxi area. He admired and admired him and asked him for help when he went to study.

In the 15th year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Shizu-Zhang summoned the national commander Yu Linxiu to the capital.
"Reward the Master! There is another person who is extraordinary in Zen. Why should the Master call him to come together and give him a seat to educate him with great teaching?"
"Who is the national master referring to?"
"Mr. Sen Tiebangsen!"
Sen Zen Master!" So he took this opportunity to enter the palace. In the year of Jihai, Master Yulin returned to Benshan, but Zen Master Sen was left in the capital. Emperor Shizu Zhang treated him very generously. He not only treated him with courtesy, but he wanted to issue an edict several times to issue an edict to award him a title, but he did not dare to receive the title. He submitted memorials and made a powerful thanks, on the grounds that Master Yulin was a master and a disciple, and there was no reason why Master and disciples enjoyed the equal imperial title, which was a great disrespect to Master Nai. Shizu was a wise man. Since he expressed this way, he could only follow his wishes.
Not long after, he worshipped Mount Wutai and stayed in Xiantong Temple at night.

He met an old woman in front of the temple. The old woman looked very strange. She carried a bamboo basket in her hand and chewed a stone in her mouth. She looked like an immortal or a god. It was unpredictable and she could understand the purpose of Zen when she talked to her. She called Zen Master Sen: "Datong Buddha! Datong Buddha!"
After returning from Mount Wutai, he asked to return to Longxi. The Emperor approved his request and named the temple where he lived " Yuanzhao Temple ". It was a very honorable thing for the emperor to write the name of the temple himself.
Zen Master Sen is very pure in observing the precepts, and he leads the temples very rigorous and organized, with a plain and elegant style, which is quite like a Zen Master Baizhang . Although we are very clever and quick in the Zen aspect, we are really using the Dharma to attract the beginning, not to show off our eloquence.
Because his performance was too extraordinary, he was treated specially by Emperor Shizu Zhang and regarded as a confidant.
When he returns to his hometown, he looks like a cloud shadow by the sun, never leaving the sky, flying alone and soaring at will. It’s like the cliff and the desolate waterfall, how can there be any concern? Therefore, he is truly a role model for a Buddhist who is inaction. His practice is like his knowledge and understanding. All the principles in the world are the ultimate truths, and can be kept anywhere and taught at any time. In terms of meditation and enlightenment, he can be compared with Master Yulin and can also be a model for monks throughout the ages.

In the 16th year of Kangxi, when he traveled to Huayan Temple, he said, "This place is full of natural and strange stones. There are mountains and waters, and even a few river sails can be placed on the water. This beautiful picture of the clear and beautiful picture is where I live forever!"
So he wrote the date of his departure in advance, wrote the verses of the sealing of the niche, and then passed away. He lived for 64 years and had thirty-six monks. He was born in the 42nd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty.
In the 11th year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty, he was posthumously named "Zen Master Mingdao Zhengjue" by the Qing Dynasty Yongzheng emperor, and wrote a verse to praise:
"One person's head comes out, eight surfaces rise to peace; there are dragons and elephants in the generations, heroes among monks. Ten voids are integrated, and the eyes are clear; the sun and moon are bright, the water is green, and the mountains are green. Imperial writing on May 15, 11th year of Yongzheng."
