Building a bookish society is not only a inheritance of history and culture, but also a need for the development of the times. Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has planned and successfully held the "Reading" - Shaanxi Provincial Reading Photography Exhibition for many years. It uses photography, a popular form for the masses to explain the unique charm of reading culture, which has attracted widespread attention and participation in society, and has become a resounding brand event.

2022 continues to hold the "Reading·Reading" - Shaanxi Reading Photography Exhibition. The exhibition collection started on September 9, 2022 and was completed on October 10. A total of 5,296 photography works with special topics on reading and learning were received. 13 issues of manuscripts selected, edited and produced a total of 1,462 photography works online. In mid-November, experts were organized to select 142 excellent selected works, further using images to promote the in-depth development of reading culture, show the beautiful scene of "poetry and calligraphy are self-bright", guide more people to form good habits of conscious reading, let cultural confidence be better implemented, promote the in-depth development of reading culture, spread the spirit of reading, and promote the style of learning.
