The competition is divided into two categories: professional group and mass group. The participants in the professional group are members of the Xinjiang Young Photographers Association and the Shuimogou District Photographers Association; the participants in the mass group are all ministries and commissions, subdistricts, community staff and photography enthusiasts in Shuimogou District.

Judgement process and award setting
(1) Work review and exhibition
Shortlisted for the preliminary review (March 5 to March 15, 2023):
All entries were reviewed by industry experts, 100 works were selected by the professional group, and 80 works were selected by the mass group. A total of 180 works entered the online voting stage; online voting (2023 March 16th to April 16th, 2019): The shortlisted works of the professional group will be published on the "Xinjiang Young Photographers Association" WeChat public account, and all the shortlisted works of the mass group will be published on the "7 Square Street" WeChat public account. They will enter the online voting process. Sorted by the number of votes received, 50 works will be selected by the professional group and 30 works will be selected by the mass group. A total of 80 works will be made into postcards and exhibited; at the same time, based on the online voting The votes and expert on-site review will determine each award;
exhibition display (tentatively scheduled for April 2023):
A total of 80 works will be exhibited at the Xinjiang Contemporary Art Museum, and an award ceremony will be held at the same time.
