Male cicadas will chirp
After the cicadas have a mate, they will mate in the tree and lay more than 1,000 eggs. These eggs will fall to the ground. After hatching, the young cicadas will burrow into the soil and come closer. It settles at the roots of the tree, absorbs the sap of the tree as nutrients, and slowly grows. This process lasts from 4 to 17 years.
During this period, the young cicada does not just stay in one place. It will change the depth of the cave according to the moisture level of the soil. When it matures, it will choose a humid and hot summer to break out of the hole and come out again. Climb up the tree trunk, shed its shell and emerge as a cicada.

The tool for catching cicadas is very simple. Cover it with several layers, which is very sticky and depends on the spider. Use the net to catch the cicadas on the tree and catch them accurately.
