狀語的用途是什麼？

英語的狀語可以修飾各種詞語，也可以修飾一個句子。本部分容易理解，例句較少。

（1）修飾謂語動詞

She dances well. 她跳舞很好。

（2）修飾形容詞和形容詞短語

How wonderful the film is! 電影太好了！

（3）修飾副詞和副詞短語

I know him fairly well. 我相當了解他。

（4）修飾數詞

He is more than 50 years old. 他50多歲了。

（5）修飾介詞短語

You have come just in time. 你來得正好。

（6）修飾不定式和不定式短語

I told him to write more often. 我告訴他要多寫信。

（7）修飾現在分詞短語

I saw him swimming in the pool. 我看見他在游泳池裡游泳。

（8）修飾過去分詞短語

She rushed in, her eyes filled with tears. 他跑了進去，眼裡含著淚水。

（9）少量的強調副詞和程度副詞修飾名詞或代詞

Only John was found. 只有約翰被找到了。

（10）修飾句子

Certainly I will come tomorrow. 明天我當然要來。
