In the past 10 years, the GDP of Guangdong province has increased from 5.7 trillion yuan in 2012 to 12.4 trillion yuan in 2021, with the total economic output ranking the first in China for 33 years.
The per capita GDP of the province has gone up from 52,300 yuan to 98,300 yuan, showing the greatest resilience of growth and tremendous success of the new development concept of the regional economy.
