after renovation, the interior of the minghua ship has been restored with elements of late 19th-century french art nouveau, combined with eastern botanical motifs, creating an integration of western and eastern aesthetics.

the immersive physical theatre"the deal" is co-produced by a sino-british team and presented by artists from 12 countries. it is mentioned that the ship features eight interconnected scenes akin to a "inception" style labyrinth.the revolving stages, movable scenic walls, and hidden stagemechanisms enable instant scene transitions. nearly 3,000 props, sourced from european vintage shops, enrich every detail. in this promenade performance with no fixed seating, the audience shifts from being "spectators" to "participants," following actors through multi-functional ship cabins. this site-specific theatre aboard a ship allows audiences not only to enjoy an artistic experience but also to enjoy food and cultural merchandise.

中國首部原創沉浸式肢體劇《交易人生》在深圳開啟首演

承載著深圳改革開放記憶的明華輪,在歷經改造升級後,以「沉浸式演藝綜合體」的全新身份正式亮相。而中國首部原創沉浸式肢體劇《交易人生》也從10月1日起,在明華輪上開啟全球首演。

改造後的明華輪,室內空間還原了19世紀末法國新藝術運動的元素,搭配東方植物紋樣,中西美學在此碰撞。

沉浸式肢體劇《交易人生》由中英團隊跨國打造、12國藝術家聯袂呈現。據介紹,船上8個聯動場景如同「盜夢空間」,旋轉平台、移動牆面、隱藏式機關讓場景瞬間切換,近3000件從歐洲中古店淘來的道具細節拉滿。而不設固定坐席的行進式觀演模式,更讓觀眾從「旁觀者」變成「劇中人」,跟隨演員的腳步在多層船艙中穿梭。這種「劇船合一」的模式,讓觀眾在藝術體驗之外,還能享受美食、文創帶來的快樂。

從創作靈感來看,該劇源於歌德的《浮士德》與果戈里的《外套》,卻紮根於深圳的城市精神——故事設定在職場背景下,貧窮怯懦的男主人公馬塞爾,為贏得愛情、獲得成功,用靈魂向魔鬼交換了一件象徵權力與財富的「華服」,最終在巔峰體驗後領悟人生真諦。
