on may 9th, the 2023 hengqin global investment promotion conference officially kicked off, presenting the highly-open business environment of the guangdong-macao in-depth cooperation zone in hengqin to the world and welcoming more high-quality projects at home and abroad to invest in hengqin.
the conference attracted over 400 guests from 38 countries and regions, including france, portugal, canada, japan, and australia.
fully support foreign enterprises to explore the chinese market
lei wai nong, director of the executive committee of the guangdong-macao in-depth cooperation zone in hengqin, stated that this conference is an important window to the world, presenting the development achievements of the zone since its establishment over a year ago. it is also proof of the cooperation zone's determination to promote high-quality development by attracting investment and talent globally.
su kun, deputy director of the executive committee, recommended the open investment environment of hengqin from three perspectives: integration, development, and support. he stated that enterprises will have more opportunities and broader space to develop with the accelerating integration of systems and mechanisms in qinzhou and macao. he hopes enterprises to explore investment opportunities in hengqin during the upcoming visits.
hengqin provides important opportunities for macao
the conference invited over 400 representatives from the government, the foreign consular corps in hong kong and macao, macao business associations and major enterprises at home and abroad. among them were representatives from companies in singapore, portugal, and other countries who had previously participated in the macao-hengqin joint investment promotion delegation, and they returned to hengqin this time to seek cooperation opportunities.
at the conference, guests delivered speeches respectively of their growth with hengqin and their confidence and expectations for the bright future of the cooperation zone. speakers include zhao baige, chairman of the expert committee of research & development international, gong bin, dean of zhuhai academy for advanced integrated circuit, cao chunlai, general manager of lianbang biotechnology (zhuhai hengqin) co., ltd., and gary zhang, founder and ceo of micro connect.
antónio almeida, cfo of portuguese pharmaceutical company hovione, said that hengqin will provide important opportunities for macao's development. "this is my first time to hengqin. what impressed me most is the developed infrastructure, industries and market opportunities in hengqin."
explore a new model of combining exhibitions and investment promotion in hengqin and macao
on the afternoon of the 9th, the guests visited industrial carriers and infrastructures like the hengqin new area exhibition hall, the traditional chinese medicine science and technology industrial park of co-operation between guangdong and macao, the rowing park, further understanding the business environment and advantages of the cooperation zone.
this conference is also deeply linked with the beyond international technology and innovation expo 2023. on may 10th, the representatives and guests visited the beyond expo and went to its hengqin exhibition area to learn about the development of the integrated circuits industry and the biomedicine industry.
the expo also features flying cars display in hengqin. through the "exhibitions + investment promotion" combination and "one expo two places" model, guests can have a deeper understanding of the industrial development in hengqin and the achievements of macao and hengqin cooperation.

5月9日，橫琴2023全球招商推介會盛大啟幕，面向全球展現合作區高水平對外開放的營商環境，誠邀更多國內外優質項目聚集橫琴。
本次大會吸引了來自法國、葡萄牙、加拿大、日本、澳大利亞等38個國家及地區400多名嘉賓參加。
全力支持企業開拓中國市場
橫琴粵澳深度合作區執行委員會主任李偉農表示，本次全球招商推介會是面向全球企業家展示合作區成立一年多以來發展成效的重要窗口，更是合作區面向全球招商引資、招才引智，堅定不移推動高質量發展的鄭重宣示。
合作區執委會副主任蘇崑以融合、發展、支撐三個角度推介了橫琴開放投資環境，表示隨著琴澳一體化提速發展，制度銜接和機制對接更加暢通，企業將獲得更多發展機遇、更廣闊的發展空間，希望企業在接下來的考察活動中多走多看，發掘橫琴投資機遇。
橫琴將為澳門發展提供重要機遇
本次推介會邀請了廣東省、澳門特別行政區、珠海市政府機構代表，以及駐澳駐港總領事參訪團、澳門商協會、海內外重點企業代表們等超過400位嘉賓，其中包括此前澳琴聯合招商代表團赴海外對接的新加坡、葡萄牙等國家企業代表，此次他們從海外回訪橫琴，期待促成合作。
推介會上，藍迪國際智庫專家委員會主席趙白鴿、珠海先進集成電路研究院院長龔斌、聯邦生物科技（橫琴）有限公司總經理曹春來、滴灌通創始人兼行政總裁張高波分別發表演講，講述他們與橫琴共同成長的歷程，表達對合作區光明前景的信心與期待。
葡萄牙醫藥企業好利安（hovione）公司首席財務官安東尼奧·阿爾梅達表示，橫琴將為澳門發展提供重要機遇，「這是我第一次來到橫琴，令我印象最深刻的是琴發達的基礎設施建設、良好的產業基礎以及市場機遇。」
探索「展會+招商」琴澳聯動新模式
9日下午，與會嘉賓分別走進橫琴粵澳深度合作區規劃展示廳、粵澳合作中醫藥科技產業園、賽艇公園等橫琴產業載體及民生項目，進一步了解合作區的營商環境及優勢。
本次橫琴全球招商推介會與澳門beyond國際科技創新博覽會深度聯動。5月10日，與會嘉賓前往澳門參觀beyond國際科技創新博覽會，併到博覽會的橫琴展區了解集成電路以及生物醫藥大健康產業發展情況。
