MetaReal Group, recently announced that it has successfully combined an automatically generated virtual world based on artificial intelligence with the company's proprietary engine that converts 360-degree images into a six-degree-of-freedom image (6DoF) format.
According to the company, its Metaverse advanced technology research arm Matrix Genesis Labs (MGL) has successfully integrated "Project GENESIS" (artificial intelligence-based automatic generation technology of the Metaverse) and "Project Dimensions" (the company's 6DoF motion technology).
MATRIX stated that this means that free movement in the infinite virtual space generated continuously by AI in real time will be achieved.
In addition, according to the company, there are currently problems such as image distortion and the inability to convert smoothly when converting to virtual space when using images automatically generated by AI. When the company's 6DoF engine converts distorted images into three dimensions, those distortions are also rendered in three dimensions, causing the entire space to warp.
MATRIX noted that the company will continue to further develop the technology involved to solve the above-mentioned distortion issues.
Currently, the Project Genesis beta version has been released on the company’s real-life Metaverse platform DOKODEMO Door (https://dokodemodoors.com).
