On December 20, State Grid Haidong Power Supply Company's project "Research on High-proportion Secure Access of New Energy Based on Multi-level Differentiated Scenarios" successfully passed the acceptance of State Grid Qinghai Electric Power Company. The acceptance expert group believed that the research on the subject was in-depth, fruitful, and has high practical application value. It will provide strong technical guidance for future new energy access work in the Haidong region.

With the continuous advancement of the country's "double carbon" strategic goal, the energy structure has accelerated its evolution. Haidong City's new energy industry has shown a development trend and characteristics of starting from scratch, from slow to rapid, and rapid growth in the short term. Large-scale new energy access is bound to bring unprecedented challenges and pressures to the existing power grid and planning work. Haidong Power Supply Company Faced with the urgent situation, it carried out the project "Research on High-proportion Safe Access of New Energy Based on Multi-level Differentiated Scenarios" in advance, and conducted in-depth research on the impact of new energy access on the power grid, the current situation and planned grid access photovoltaic carrying capacity and how to improve new energy access capabilities.

This project is based on the current distribution network load characteristics and photovoltaic output characteristics of each district and county in the Haidong Power Supply Company's power supply area. It conducts an analysis of the influencing factors after the distribution network is connected to photovoltaic power, and establishes a scientific and reasonable calculation method. This method quantitatively evaluates the multi-level photovoltaic carrying capacity and open capacity of the regional distribution network, demonstrates the "14th Five-Year Plan" distribution network planning scheme based on new energy access conditions, and takes into account the operating status and level of regional distribution network facilities to determine photovoltaic access recommendations and research on measures to improve new energy acceptance capabilities.

In the next step, Haidong Power Supply Company will further deepen the research results of the project, effectively guide the safe and effective integration of new energy into the power grid, continuously improve the operating efficiency of the regional power grid, serve energy transformation, and build a strong and intelligent new power system.
