In 2021, the county's R&D investment was 1.692 billion yuan, an increase of 235 million yuan over the previous year, accounting for 2.31% of GDP. With the significant increase in R&D investment and the innovation capabilities of enterprises have been significantly enhanced, the county's technology contract transaction volume reached 3.4 billion yuan, the technology contract transaction volume reached 240 million yuan, and the technology output has achieved a leapfrog improvement. The laboratories of 10 enterprises and units including Dongying Guangda Jinke Co., Ltd. were successfully recognized as municipal key laboratories, and there were 40 municipal key laboratories in our county. It is recommended that the Guangrao Park of China (Dongying) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Experimental Zone be recognized as a municipal co-creation space. Currently, our county has 31 provincial technology enterprise incubators, 2 provincial co-creation spaces, 1 municipal science and technology enterprise incubators, and 4 municipal co-creation spaces.
