CNCERT network security incident handling cooperation promote the maintenance of global Internet network security

November 8, during the Wuzhen Summit of the 2022 World Internet Conference, the "Hand together to build a community with a shared future in cyberspace" display event was launched, and 12 high-quality cases were unveiled. Among them, the "CNCERT Cybersecurity Incident Handling Coordination Center" selected by the National Computer Network Emergency Technology Processing Coordination Center was selected.

This case demonstrates the positive contributions made by National Internet Emergency Center in promoting the coordinated handling of cross-border network security incidents and promoting the maintenance of the global Internet network security environment.

Global cooperation in cybersecurity is an important cornerstone for building a community with a shared future in cyberspace. As the leading unit of China's cybersecurity emergency system, CNCERT has established partnerships with 275 organizations in 82 countries and regions and signed memorandums of cooperation with 33 organizations. Relying on close cooperation, CNCERT coordinates and handles more than 100,000 cybersecurity incidents each year.

According to He Nengqiang, senior engineer of the Zhejiang Branch of the National Computer Network Emergency Technology Coordination Center, in the early stage of the epidemic, criminals disrupted the normal development of China's epidemic prevention work through cyber attacks. The center coordinated the CERT organization in more than 10 countries, promptly handled more than 500 attack sources, blocked the denial of service attacks against epidemic-related websites, and also dealt with many counterfeit incidents that used the COVID-19 epidemic to collect personal data, protect people's lives and health, and vividly interpreted the people-oriented concept.

On the afternoon of November 8, 2022, a practical case release and display event with the theme of "Working together to build a community with a shared future in cyberspace" was held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang. The picture shows He Nengqiang, senior engineer of the Zhejiang Branch of the National Computer Network Emergency Technology Coordination Center.

On the other hand, CNCERT actively practices the concept of a community with a shared future in cyberspace and maintains the security order of the global Internet with pragmatic actions. Timely discover and inform the incidents of hackers tampering with the web page of an intergovernmental international organization, fully protect the normal operation of the organization, effectively avoid misunderstandings and disputes between member states, and safeguard the interests of each member state. In response to the photovoltaic control platform vulnerability incident complained by CERT in a certain country, CNCERT responded quickly, effectively protecting the information security of affected users and further enhancing the friendship between the two countries.

He Nengqiang said that CNCERT is the promoter, participant and contributor of global cybersecurity cooperation. We are willing to work with global partners to continuously improve our capabilities in information sharing, threat warning, and incident handling, and contribute best practices to working together to build a community with a shared future in cyberspace.
